In Infernal Hordes, it’s not about how many enemies you can kill, but rather collecting as many Burning Aethers as possible, since they’re the only ones you can redeem for loot. To do this, you need to learn how to maximize the chances of Burning Aether drops through related events and Infernal Offers.
First, at the end of each wave, three Infernal Offers will appear in the center of the room, and you can choose one. Each Infernal Offer will provide a boon and a bane, and the effects will last until you finish running Infernal Hordes. Secondly, Aether events are the main source of Burning Aether, and this type of event can be divided into static encounters and summon enemy types. Aether events usually appear on the mini-map as dynamic circles at the moment they are generated and then continue to flash in the form of small flame icons.
