How To Make The Most Of Diablo 4 Season 9 March Of The Goblins Before It Ends?
Perhaps because the season mechanics themselves haven’t been particularly innovative, this year’s Diablo 4 seems to be making a habit of adding extra events during the seasons to keep you playing.
For example, there was March of the Goblins event in Season 7 back in March, Berserk crossover during Season 8, and Gift of the Tree event in Season 9 a few weeks ago.
While there’s no confirmed update for Season 10 yet, Diablo 4 is bringing March of the Goblins back to Season 9 to ensure you have enough Diablo 4 gold, gear, and items to start the next season.
With only a day or so left until the end of the event, if you’ve only recently started playing or haven’t achieved the desired results due to poor strategy, we’ll provide a guide for you.

March Of The Goblins Overview
This event first appeared as part of Diablo 4’s first anniversary celebration last year. Its engaging gameplay and generous rewards proved so popular among players that it’s been retained as one of Diablo 4’s “flash events.”
The six goblins available for hunting during the event are actually permanent in-game. You can encounter them during regular adventures or quests, and winning battles will still earn you gold or other rewards. However, they appear more frequently during the event.
The rarity and rewards dropped by each of the six goblins vary, ranging from common but essential gold and crafting materials to precious Mythic and Resplendent Sparks. The more, the better, so don’t miss out on even the goblins that offer more modest rewards!
The reward tracks for March of the Goblins event are entirely based on your personal progress, so if you want to earn your desired rewards, you must rely on your own hard work and cannot rely on the help of other players—who might even rob you of your loot.
How To Get Started?
Log in to Diablo 4 during the event, travel to Kyovashad, and then find Altar of the Goblin statue in front of Idania’s Rings & Amulets shop, marked by the white badge icon on the minimap.
Hovering your mouse over the statue will display the level of goblins you can track and the rewards you’ll receive for killing different goblins. From there, you can begin your goblin-hunting adventures across all areas of the game map!

What Tips Can Help You Get Rewards More Efficiently?
Generally speaking, even the rarest goblins are not too difficult to kill in Diablo 4. The tricky thing about them is that they flee quickly once spotted, making them difficult to catch. With that in mind, we offer the following suggestions.
Memorize All Goblin Characteristics
If you already have a lot of rewards from some goblins and don’t want to waste time on them, or if you want to farm specific goblins, it’s important to remember their physical characteristics. Otherwise, you might end up wasting time tracking the wrong goblin type.
After Season 7 update, the current goblin colors and drop rewards for March of the Goblins event are:
- Odious Ector (Green): Crafting materials.
- Gilded Baron (Yellow): Enormous sums of gold.
- Glittering Prym (Diamond): Gem fragments, runes, and Undercity Tributes.
- Curious Murl (Purple): Murl’s Bag of Obols.
- Gelatinous Syrus (Blue): Splits into multiple goblins when killed, then drops legendary gear, gold, boss lair keys, and elixirs.
- Fancy Old Fedric (Mythic Purple): A Mythic and a Resplendent Spark.
The two goblins that are easily confused are Curious Murl and Fancy Old Fedric, both of whom are purple. The difference in their colors can only be distinguished when you get close to them. However, because of the very low spawn rate of Fancy Old Fedric, you should be unlikely to encounter him.
Always Monitor Your Mini-Map
Goblins will be indicated on your mini-map with a unique icon when they appear, allowing you to find them more quickly and avoid being lost in the midst of swarms of enemies.
Make Helltides To Be Your Primary Farming Location
While goblins can spawn anywhere during March of the Goblins, Helltides is a better choice because the enemy spawn density is generally higher during this event, making it more likely that you’ll encounter goblins.
However, be aware that you may encounter other, more dangerous enemies during an active Helltide, hindering your goblin-hunting progress. Therefore, be vigilant while utilizing powerful gear to protect yourself.
Another good goblin farming location is Fields of Hatred PvP location. If you prefer not to encounter too many or too powerful actual players there, you can reduce your chances of encountering enemy players by disabling cross-play.
Activate Nearby Greed Shrines
Shrines are a special buff mechanic available in Season 9, and there are several types of shrines, one of which is Greed Shrines. They can spawn anywhere in the game, and activating them provides the following buffs for 30 seconds:
- Hit enemies and drop gold.
- You can automatically pick up gold from a greater distance.
- Gives a movement speed bonus.
If you encounter and activate Greed Shrines while killing goblins, not only will you receive the above buffs, but they will also increase the chance of goblin spawns. Combined, this event promises countless rewards!
This concludes our guide to March of the Goblins, hoping to help you maximize your progress and rewards before the event ends! Have fun!

Will Diablo 4 Season 15 Mythic Charms Completely Shift the Endgame? A Major Shake-up to Talisman Meta
Over the past few seasons, Diablo 4 has undergone significant overhauls to its Mythic item system. While the results haven't pleased every player, the changes have indeed increased the drop rates for items of this tier.
Information from 3.2.0 PTR reveals that Diablo 4 Season 15 will introduce Mythic tier for charms, alongside new Unique charms.
Given the controversy surrounding previous Mythic gear, we analyze here whether Mythic charms are a worthwhile addition to Diablo 4 and consider the potential impact of this system's launch.
What do Mythic charms do?
In fact, players had occasionally spotted Mythic charms in Diablo 4 as early as Season 13. However, since their existence hadn't been officially confirmed, these sightings were dismissed as rumors or bugs.
At the time, some speculated that Mythic charms had either been disabled for Season 13 or were being held back for a future season or patch, a theory that proved correct.
Charms are part of Diablo 4's Talisman system; by placing seals in Talisman inventory tab, you unlock slots for Diablo 4 charms that provide various bonuses to your existing gear.
Prior to Season 15, available charm types included Rare, Magic, Unique, and Set, each offering different types and magnitudes of bonuses.
The new Mythic charms are derived from Unique charms; in other words, they aren't a completely new category of items, but rather a potential upgrade, any Unique charm has a chance to drop at Mythic tier. Consequently, they are also referred to as Mythic Unique charms.
These Mythic charms generate the effects of their base Unique counterparts at maximum values and provide significant boosts to their exclusive attributes.
How to obtain Mythic charms?
Although Mythic charms were only accessible via a specific vendor named Mrak during Diablo 4 3.2.0 PTR, the game indicates that even in Season 15, they cannot be crafted using Horadric Cube.
Furthermore, there is no specific boss with a high drop rate to farm for them; instead, they appear with a very low probability whenever you farm for Unique charms through standard gameplay activities. This differs from standard Mythic unique items.
What impact does this have on mainstream seal setups?
The effectiveness of Talisman system hinges on the synergy between seals and charms, with charm placement built upon the foundation of the seals themselves.
To date, several mainstream seal setups have emerged in Diablo 4 featuring fixed charm choices; however, the introduction of Mythic charms is set to disrupt this landscape.
Consider the most common standard seal setup: a combination of 5 set charms and 1 unique charm. This 6-slot configuration allows you to secure the full 5-piece set bonus while simultaneously unlocking an additional effect.
With the arrival of Mythic charms, you can upgrade that single equipped unique charm to Mythic quality. This grants an immediate net damage increase of at least 10% without requiring any changes to your talents or overall build configuration.
In contrast, another popular setup, the 4+2 configuration based on Seal of the Diamond Mind, risks becoming a suboptimal choice. This setup eschews all standard Diablo 4 unique charms in favor of activating multiple set bonuses.
Since it utilizes no unique charms, this setup cannot benefit from the enhancements provided by Mythic charms, leading to a significant decline in its relative competitiveness.
However, the build poised to gain the most from these changes is Seal of the Golden Epiphany 3+3 setup.
This setup incorporates three unique charms; if you are lucky enough to upgrade all of them to Mythic quality, the build will benefit from three multiplicative scaling effects, resulting in extraordinary power.
Existing unique charms that boost damage can be broadly categorized into three tiers based on their base damage multipliers.
This implies that the power gains achievable through Mythic charms will vary, and the damage ceilings for various seal setups could far exceed what you might currently imagine.
Additionally, Diablo 4 Season 15 introduces a new seasonal item: Soul Splinters. These can be socketed into rings and amulets to provide a variety of beneficial effects.
If you can effectively combine these with Mythic charms, your Season 15 character will reach unprecedented levels of power.
Don't be misled by PTR bugs
During 3.2.0 PTR, a screenshot of a so-called The Grandfather Mythic charm circulated within Diablo 4 community; its exaggerated stats sparked intense discussion.
However, it is important to note that the charm in the screenshot was not an intended drop but rather an anomalous data glitch specific to PTR. Therefore, one should not misjudge the actual impact of Diablo 4 Mythic charms based on this error.
Even setting the bug aside, Mythic charms hold immense potential; consequently, Diablo 4 will likely introduce further restrictions in the future to prevent the combat balance from tipping out of control.
Summary
The introduction of Mythic charm system marks another crucial step in optimizing Diablo 4 endgame experience. It provides a way to achieve a significant boost in combat power even after your character has reached max level and your gear is fully optimized.
Furthermore, if the ability to craft Mythic gear previously dampened the excitement of seeing that tier of item drop, Mythic charms are here to reignite that thrill.
That covers everything for now. Here's hoping Diablo 4 Season 15 launches soon so we can witness the true power of Mythic charms firsthand!

Diablo 4 BlizzCon 2026 Schedule Revealed | New Region and Expansion Rumors Explained
2026 BlizzCon will open on September 12, with major announcements expected for Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and other major titles. For Diablo series players, the event is also highly anticipated.
In Diablo 4 Season 15, the official team explicitly stated that some content had been intentionally kept hidden. At Gamescom 2026, they also revealed a collaboration with The Witcher 3. That is certainly part of the surprise, but it is unlikely to be everything, as that alone would not be enough to support an entire expansion.
The official 2026 BlizzCon schedule has now been revealed, while a map suspected to be from Diablo 4 has also leaked. This could indicate that the official team is working on a new region. Let's take a look at what has been revealed.
Major Announcements Confirmed by The Official Team
The official team has clearly stated that major news will be brought to Diablo fans at this year's convention.
2026 marks the 30th anniversary of Diablo series. In the official Diablo 30th Anniversary Spotlight video, the team already hinted that something exciting enough to drive players wild would be revealed at BlizzCon. This time, the event should avoid another awkward situation like BlizzCon 2018.
In addition, an August PTR blog post stated that some of the features planned for Season 15 may look different from what players eventually see, and that this was intentional.
The official team also has more content to share at BlizzCon. They did not want all of Diablo 4 Season 15 content to be revealed before they had the opportunity to discuss it.
Taken together, these details strongly suggest that Diablo 4 team has high expectations for its BlizzCon presentation. This is clearly not going to be a small-scale update.
2026 BlizzCon Schedule
A 2026 BlizzCon schedule previously leaked on 4chan, but many details were later shown to be inconsistent with the schedule officially released by the event organizers.
If you are following 2026 BlizzCon, you can check the official Know Before You Go guide, which contains the actual schedule.
The opening ceremony for 2026 BlizzCon is officially scheduled for 10:30 AM Pacific Time in Hall D, rather than the leaked 11:00 AM start time.
The official schedule confirms that a Diablo Developer Update will be held on Main Stage as one of the seven convention panels.
In addition, a panel titled 30 Years of Battle.net will officially take place on September 13, with CD Projekt Red confirmed to be attending. This is undoubtedly intended to provide a closer look at Geralt skin.
The first day's schedule even includes two Diablo-related events. One is a 45-minute Diablo: Developer Update, although its description remains quite vague.
The other is The Art of Darkness: Behind Diablo IV's Cinematics, which focuses specifically on Diablo IV's cinematics. This could potentially mean that an opening cinematic for a future expansion will premiere during the event.
The real highlight will have to wait until September 13, when Diablo IV: What's Next takes place. Its description refers to 30 Years of Darkness and includes content previews, feature previews, and everything coming next. Clearly, this is where the biggest announcement is likely to be hidden.
For players worried that Diablo Immortal might take up too much of the event, there is little reason for concern.
The space allocated to Diablo Immortal is considerably smaller than Diablo 4 playable demo area. The latter is much more spacious, suggesting that more substantial hands-on content may be prepared for the event. In addition, no live Q&A sessions have been scheduled for any game this year, presumably to avoid the uncontrolled situations seen at previous conventions.
New Region Leak
Another screenshot currently circulating online is believed to show a new region in Diablo 4. It contains already-drawn dungeons, war-planning markers, and other elements, making the area look less like a rough concept sketch and more like an environment approaching completion. This may indicate a new expansion, including new Diablo 4 items, classes, explorable areas, and even Lair Bosses.
The original image came from a Brazilian content creator. The screenshot appears to show an unrevealed Western Continent containing two clearly identifiable locations: Duncraig and Kingsport.
Duncraig is described as a town in Kingdom of Westmarch, located near Kingsport and Bramwell, with Castle Cyrangar situated in the western part of the town.
Kingsport, meanwhile, is a massive port city known for its merchant fleet and strongly scented fishing nets. Its noble district sits alongside rapidly expanding slums, while the thieves' guild and merchants' guild fight for territory in the shadows of its narrow streets.
According to Diablo's world map, the western region remains unexplored. The Skovos Isles introduced with Lord of Hatred expansion appear to occupy only a small portion of the lower-right area of this map.
The authenticity of the map has not been officially confirmed. The distance between Western Continent and the main continent also differs from the actual terrain shown in the game. It may therefore represent only part of a future expansion plan rather than indicate that the entire region will become accessible at once.
All of these signs suggest that 2026 BlizzCon may have a major surprise in store for Diablo 4 players. If you plan to follow the event, remember to link your Twitch account to your Battle.net account and watch Diablo content creators' livestreams between September 12 and September 15 to unlock in-game rewards.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Theme Predictions: Soul Splinters and Pandemonium Clues Strongly Hint at Malthael's Return
With Diablo 4 Season 14 drawing to a close, players have already set their sights on BlizzCon 2026, just ten days from now, as it's then that the long-awaited theme for Diablo 4 Season 15 will finally be revealed.
Although the official stance on the core theme remains tight-lipped, discussions about Season 15 theme within the community are still quite intense. Let's take a look at some of the most anticipated and widely considered most likely theme speculations and see if they align with your own guesses about the new season's direction!
Angel of Death, Malthael
Of all the speculations about Diablo 4 Season 15 theme, the most attention-grabbing and seemingly most plausible is undoubtedly the reappearance of Archangel Malthael.
Have players noticed that this character, who embodied Angel of Death in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls and nearly destroyed all of humanity, seems to be gradually becoming clearer in Season 14 storyline?
First, Season 14's ending leaves a subtle but intriguing clue: after defeating Corrupted Angel Seraziel, the enemy leaves a brief but unsettling warning before vanishing - he's coming.
The stranger who followed closely behind, whose words and actions seemed familiar to many veteran players, led them to speculate that this was a hint that Malthael was about to return.
An even more direct clue is that some key events in Season 14 take place at Pandemonium Fortress, the very location where Malthael ultimately perished in Diablo 3.
Can these details about Malthael truly be explained by mere coincidence?
Furthermore, the entire mechanics and atmosphere of Season 14 revolve around death and decay, and Malthael, as Angel of Death, perfectly embodies this theme.
If Diablo 4 Season 15 truly brings back Angel of Death, Malthael, pushing the threat of death to its extreme, it would not only be narratively logical but also elevate the season's epic scale to new heights.
Several media outlets believe that if Malthael returns, Season 15 could very well become one of the most content-rich seasons in Diablo 4's history!
Evidence from Soul Splinters
Besides these plot clues, the newly announced Soul Splinters system for Season 15 also supports the speculation surrounding Malthael.
While these socketable items offer powerful buffs, they also come with negative consequences. This high-risk, high-reward concept inevitably evokes Soul Splinters mechanic from Diablo 3, which was closely tied to Malthael as the primary boss for acquiring them.
While the official statement doesn't explicitly state a connection between the two, the community generally believes the development team wouldn't revive the name and mechanic without reason; it's likely a core gameplay element tailored for the new season's Angel of Death theme.
Many speculate that the negative effects of Soul Splinters might symbolize Malthael's curse on Sanctuary, and players will need to find a balance among these splinters to combat the ultimate threat in Season 15.
Other Speculations
Besides the main discussion about Angel of Death: Malthael, some interesting predictions have emerged. Although they lack the substantial plot evidence of Malthael, they have still sparked considerable discussion among players.
Legacy Uniques
We already know that Diablo 4 Season 15 will include a series of Legacy Uniques (derived from Uniques of previous games), including iconic items such as Stone of Jordan, Ring of Royal Grandeur, and Leoric's Crown.
While these Diablo 4 items are primarily gameplay updates, some players believe the development team included these nostalgic elements in the new season to create an atmosphere that pays homage to Diablo's history.
Secret Cow Level
Although the development team has kept the theme of Season 15 highly secret, players have unearthed an item called Moophisto's Bell and the world boss Moophisto - winged, cloaked, and bull-like - from PTR.
This has excited many veteran players, who speculate that the classic Secret Cow Level may return in a new form.
However, these speculations are far less plausible than the return of Malthael; they are more likely just fun Easter eggs interspersed throughout Diablo 4 Season 15, rather than the core theme of the entire season.
Official Stance
Faced with a plethora of speculation within the community regarding the possible theme of Season 15, the development team has maintained remarkable restraint. They have neither confirmed any clues nor directly denied the possibility of Malthael, only confirming the existence of Soul Splinters and Legacy Uniques.
This high level of silence has further heightened player anticipation, as the development company has a history of maintaining suspense until the very last minute when preparing for a major announcement.
Therefore, for all players interested in the Season 15 theme, BlizzCon, which opens on September 12th, will be the only authoritative source of information.
At that time, the official announcement will not only reveal the season name and theme trailer but may also include more detailed story animations and developer interviews.
While all predictions before then are merely deductions based on existing clues, isn't this the most fascinating phase before a new Diablo 4 season?
How to Prepare?
Even though the season theme is not yet finalized, we can still make some forward-looking preparations based on current information. If you agree with the speculation surrounding Angel of Death, Malthael, then pay close attention to class builds related to death and souls, as Soul Splinters may influence certain skill combinations.
Also, with a large number of Uniques returning, collecting and upgrading these items will undoubtedly be a crucial part of your Diablo 4 Season 15 journey. Understanding how they actually work in the new season will allow you to plan your builds and gear priorities before the season begins.
Of course, the most important preparation is to allocate time in mid-September to closely monitor BlizzCon 2026. Once the theme is revealed, you can adjust your progression strategy immediately!

Diablo 4 Season 15 Release Date and Features Guide: Preview, Changes and Endgame Mythic Builds
With only two weeks until the start of Diablo 4 Season 15, many of the changes likely to affect early game progression, gear acquisition, and endgame build construction are beginning to take shape.
Rather than simply adding new seasonal gameplay, Season 15 appears to place greater emphasis on how characters progress and how builds come together over time.
Players may be able to access key gear earlier and have more options for pursuing endgame upgrades, while the new seasonal mechanics could also influence build choices and the overall pace of character development.
Release Date
Diablo 4 Season 15 will officially launch on September 15, 2026. Upon launch, players will encounter new open-world events, Soul Splinters, and Unique gear. Mythic Uniques and the crafting system will also be adjusted.
Of these changes, gear acquisition and build construction are the most significant. Previously, some builds heavily relied on specific Mythic Uniques; the new season offers a transition with regular Uniques and more clearly defined crafting paths, making it more flexible to acquire core gear in the early to mid-game.
To speed up early progression after Season 15 launches, you can prepare some D4 items for the initial stages of your build.
New Open World Seasonal Activities
Season 15's seasonal activities primarily occur in the open world. Players have a chance to trigger two new types of encounters while fighting monsters or participating in area activities.
The first is Challenge Dungeons. After defeating enemies, players have a chance to find a red portal. In PTR test, entering it revealed three selectable challenge devices; activating each one increases the difficulty of subsequent boss battles.
After defeating the boss, Diablo 4 players can open three reward chests. The appearance time of Challenge Dungeons is not fixed; sometimes they appear very quickly, while other times they may trigger after some time spent in the open world.
The other is Overland Ambush. While exploring the open world, players may receive a system notification before being ambushed by a group of enemies, including a special target. Completing the battle will reward players with corresponding loot and rewards.
Neither of these activities will be a completely separate gameplay experience; instead, they will be integrated into the open-world monster-hunting process.
This will result in more random encounters and additional reward opportunities during daily exploration in Season 15.
Soul Splinters
One of the most important new systems in Season 15 is Soul Splinters. These Soul Splinters can be socketed into two Rings and one Amulet, directly contributing to build customization.
Soul Splinters come in five quality tiers: Common, Magical, Rare, Legendary, and Unique, and they employ a buff/debuff design.
A Soul Splinter may increase damage, defense, or other abilities, while also inflicting a negative effect. D4 players will need to consider not only the magnitude of the buff but also whether their build can withstand the corresponding cost.
This makes Soul Splinters a likely crucial component of Season 15 build construction.
Some builds may easily benefit from a particular debuff for higher returns; others may be unsuitable for using the same Soul Splinter because of mechanic conflicts.
Currently, Soul Splinters can be upgraded using Horadric Cubes, with stats gradually increasing for different qualities.
However, details regarding their specific drop sources after Season 15's official release, and whether high-quality Soul Splinters will be directly obtainable, are still not fully disclosed.
Mythic Unique Changes
Season 15 will continue to adjust Mythic Unique system. Season 14 already allowed regular Unique items to be upgraded or dropped into Mythic quality, and the new season further optimizes the crafting process for Mythic items, while also adding regular Unique items to the existing Iconic Mythics.
Items previously classified as Iconic Mythics will also gain regular Unique items. Their Unique Power will be lower than Mythic, but the acquisition threshold will be lower, allowing players to use these core items for their builds earlier.
This is especially useful during the early game progression. Previously, some builds heavily relied on specific Mythic items, making them difficult to fully develop without acquiring them. In Season 15, players can first establish the core mechanics using regular Unique versions, then gradually replace them with Mythic items.
Season 15 also introduces a new batch of Diablo 4 items called Legacy Uniques, many of which show influences from classic Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 gears and mechanics. Some new weapons also offer attributes rarely seen.
Since regular Unique items can still be further converted into Mythic quality, these Legacy Uniques can also become the focus of late-game builds. Players can prioritize completing the core mechanics with more readily available Unique versions in the early to mid-game, then pursue higher-quality Mythic gears.
Mythic Crafting
Mythic Crafting will also be further adjusted in Season 15. Players can still obtain or craft Mythic Uniques through Blacksmith, Jeweler, and Horadric Cube, but the randomness offered by these three methods differs.
Blacksmith's Mythic Cache is the most random method. It produces Mythic Uniques or Iconic Mythic usable by the current class, primarily suitable for consuming excess Resplendent Sparks, and doesn't require additional Diablo 4 Season 15 Runes.
Jewelers are more targeted. Players consume Resplendent Sparks and Runes, pre-selecting the gear slot, such as a Ring or a 1-Handed Weapon. The final result is still a random Mythic, but the range is limited to the corresponding gear slot usable by the current class.
Horadric Cube's Upgrade Direct Item to Mythic is the most direct. Players can directly upgrade a specified Unique to its Mythic version, and the original Affixes, Tempering, and Masterworking are retained, with no need to re-randomize the entire piece.
However, Mythic upgraded through this Cube recipe will have a Crafted tag, and a character can only equip one Mythic with this tag at a time. Mythic items obtained through Blacksmith or Jeweler will not have Crafted tag and are therefore unaffected by this restriction.
This makes the three paths more clearly defined: Blacksmith is suitable for accepting completely random results, Jeweler allows narrowing down to a specific Diablo 4 item slot, and Horadric Cube allows locking in a specific Unique item already owned.
Season 15 may make character progression more flexible, with more ways to obtain core gear and improve builds over time.
Based on what has been shown so far, these features could make early progression smoother and give players more options when refining their builds later in the season.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Legacy Uniques Tier List | Which Returning Items Are Worth the Resources?
Diablo 4 Season 15 will once again introduce several new Unique items, but this time, most of these new items are actually returning from Diablo III, although their specific effects may have been changed.
You can upgrade these Legacy Uniques to Mythic quality, granting their core effects an additional 30% bonus. However, not every item is truly worth investing resources into. Let's take a look at which ones are actually worth your investment.
Tier C
Henry's Perquisition
- Suitable Classes: Sorcerer, Necromancer, and Warlock
Henry's Perquisition has a Unique effect that grants you an amount of your primary stat equal to 115% of your Dexterity. Its effect is completely different from its Diablo III counterpart, with only the hit-related concept being carried over.
The major drawback is that it is a Unique Focus, while the classes that actually benefit most from Dexterity are Rogue and Spiritborn, and neither of them can equip it.
Although you can stack All Stats affix on your gear to maximize this effect, the overall benefit is still rather limited. It is generally more effective to stack affixes such as Critical Strike Damage or your primary stat instead.
Nemesis Bracers
- Suitable Classes: All Classes
When you activate a Shrine, this item summons a group of Elite monsters, theoretically increasing the amount of loot and materials you can obtain. Although it provides a large amount of Movement Speed, its main problem is that it offers no damage bonus.
This item may be useful while leveling, but in endgame content such as The Pit, where every bit of damage matters, equipping it essentially means giving up a damage multiplier.
Unless you can already instantly kill everything in the highest Tormented 12 difficulty and simply want to increase the number of Elite monsters you encounter, this item has very little practical value.
Tier B
The Furnace
- Suitable Classes: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, and Warlock
This is a two-handed mace whose effect grants up to 200%[x] additional damage against Elite monsters, which is higher than its damage bonus in Diablo III.
Because it is a two-handed weapon, using it means giving up an additional weapon or off-hand slot. However, it can also be converted into a Charm, allowing you to gain this massive damage multiplier without sacrificing an equipment slot.
Its greatest strength lies in The Pit or The Tower, where you sometimes need smaller monsters to remain alive so that you can use them to transfer damage. For players pushing high-tier content with specific requirements, this is one of the strongest options available.
Arioc's Needle
- Suitable Classes: Barbarian, Druid, and Spiritborn
Arioc's Needle does not share the same effect as the similarly named item in Diablo III. Its effect instead provides a chance to trigger Deadly Strike. You can think of Deadly Strike as a “critical strike of a critical strike,” providing a separate damage amplification mechanic that functions independently of normal Critical Strikes. It also provides Poison damage, helping certain builds that require multiple elemental damage types to trigger specific effects.
In Diablo 4 Season 15, it will be a core component of one of Spiritborn's strongest builds, Counter Swarm. For builds that rely heavily on Damage over Time effects, it is also one of the best choices.
El'Druin, Sword of Justice
- Suitable Classes: All Classes
This item is not technically a new item, but it has been reworked in Diablo 4 Season 15. Instead of its previous Cooldown Reduction effect, it now has a completely new effect called Smite.
It is essentially an Execute effect, but unlike a normal Execute, it works against all enemies, including bosses.
Mythic version activates its Execute effect when an enemy falls below 35% Health. Its main use is in group play, where a support character can equip it and directly Execute low-health enemies even without dealing damage, contributing to the entire team.
Tier A
Messerschmidt's Reaver
- Suitable Classes: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, and Warlock
The original effect of El'Druin, Sword of Justice has been added to this weapon, although it may receive further adjustments after Season 15 launches.
Its core effect is that every time you defeat a group of Elite monsters, your Cooldowns are reduced by a fixed number of seconds. This is mainly useful for Speed Builds that rely on Cooldown Reduction to reach specific breakpoints.
This effect uses a fixed value rather than a percentage. This means that if one of your key skills has a base Cooldown of 10 seconds, a single activation could potentially reset it immediately.
It can completely solve a build's Cooldown issues, allowing you to achieve 100% uptime on key skills without stacking any Cooldown Reduction affixes on your gear.
Stone Of Jordan
- Suitable Classes: All Classes
Stone Of Jordan causes all of your Elemental Resistances to become equal to your highest Resistance value.
This means you only need to heavily stack one type of Resistance to gain a massive increase to all Resistances. At the same time, it also provides a small damage bonus based on your highest Elemental Damage type.
Although its damage bonus is weaker than what a strong Aspect can provide, it also grants +2 Ranks to All Skills. Overall, if you are facing significant survivability issues, it can completely change your situation.
Squirt's Blouse
- Suitable Classes: All Classes
Squirt's Blouse essentially turns Diablo III's Squirt's Necklace into a chest armor piece in D4. It can provide up to 65%[x] increased independent damage in its Mythic version. The drawback is that you will take more damage.
You can use a Barrier to deal with its negative effect. Although this sacrifices a defensive Aspect slot on your chest armor, the damage increase is far greater than what most other Diablo 4 items can provide. In the late game, once you have established a strong enough defensive foundation, it becomes one of the best pieces for maximizing damage.
Tier S
Leoric's Crown
- Suitable Classes: All Classes
Leoric's Crown can be considered an Jewelry item. This means you can socket Abyssal Splinters into it, with their effects being doubled.
Abyssal Splinters introduced in Diablo 4 Season 15 are extremely powerful, providing effects such as Attack Speed, Critical Strike, or even doubling your damage at the cost of Critical Strike.
They are powerful enough to justify giving up any class-specific Helm, and even converting the item into a Charm is completely worthwhile. For anyone aiming to push the leaderboards in The Pit, this item is an absolute must-have.
If any of Legacy Uniques above are useful for your build, you can consume gold and materials to upgrade them further and unlock even stronger Unique effects.

Diablo 4 Season 15 New Clue Emerges: Hand Crossbow Teases Demon Hunter Return as Players Call for an Eternal Fresh Start
Diablo 4 Season 14 has been underway for nearly two months, and theSeason 15 PTR testing has concluded. With BlizzCon 2026 approaching, players are speculating about what new content Season 15 will bring.
The official announcement previously stated that some Season 15 content would be deliberately kept outside the PTR, as it would be revealed at BlizzCon. This unusual statement, coupled with two recent hot topics in the community, has stirred up excitement among players: firstly, Hand Crossbow has quietly appeared in the loot filter, rekindling speculation about Demon Hunter's return; secondly, some players are earnestly calling for the addition of a fresh start mode in Eternal Realm.
Two seemingly unrelated topics, when considered together, both point to an increasingly relevant issue in Diablo 4: as players accumulate more experience and depth, what kind of fresh start do they need to rekindle their motivation to adventure from Level 1?
Hand Crossbow Appears in Loot Filter
Players have discovered Hand Crossbow weapon category in Diablo 4's loot filter. Oddly, no currently playable class can equip it.
While Rogues can use bows and crossbows, those small, one-handed crossbows are entirely different from the Hand Crossbow. Hand Crossbow is practically an iconic weapon deeply intertwined with Demon Hunter in Diablo 3.
Of course, it's too early to consider this definitive. However, the appearance of Hand Crossbow does provide substantial evidence for this speculation. Coupled with the confirmed announcement of more Season 15 content at BlizzCon, this anomaly makes it hard not to speculate.
Is Legacy Uniques foreshadowing Demon Hunter?
Hand Crossbow isn't the only clue. he Legacy Uniques introduced in PTR 3.2.0 further reinforce this association. Season 15 will bring back nine classic pieces of equipment from previous Diablo titles, many from Diablo III.
On its own, this is simply a nostalgic look at the series. But placed alongside the Hand Crossbow, it inevitably leads to speculation: is the developers paving the way for the return of a classic class?
From a commercial perspective, Demon Hunter is undoubtedly a highly attractive option. The hood, dual-wielding Hand Crossbows, mobility, traps, and signature ranged firepower all contribute to its high recognizability. If it were to appear at BlizzCon, it would certainly be enough to instantly capture players' attention.
Rogue: Demon Hunter's Biggest Obstacle
However, the biggest obstacle is right in front of us: Diablo 4 already has Rogue. The studio stated during the design of Rogue that it catered to the preferences of both Demon Hunter and Assassin players. Rogue's skill system covers bows, crossbows, rapid ranged attacks, traps, shadow skills, and high mobility - almost a carbon copy of Demon Hunter.
If Demon Hunter is indeed added, the studio must come up with something truly unique, otherwise it could easily become just Rogue with a different skin.
Hand Crossbows could be the breakthrough. Dual-wielding ranged weapons is a gameplay style currently absent in Diablo 4, and Demon Hunter could build a completely different combat system around Dual Hand Crossbows, Sentry, Hatred resources, and turret gameplay. Especially the sustained firepower gameplay centered around Sentry, which Rogue hasn't fully occupied yet.
Of course, Hand Crossbows could also be nothing more than unused development data, a future Rogue weapon type, a unique item, or abandoned test content.
Eternal Realm Needs a Fresh Start
Beyond Demon Hunter speculation, another player demand is equally noteworthy: the desire for Eternal Realm to offer a truly meaningful Fresh Start.
This isn't simply about voluntarily abandoning old resources after creating a new character; it's about completely severing inheritance at the system level: no old stashes, materials, shared paragons, or other account-level resources, and no seasonal restrictions, allowing for permanently independent progress.
Some argue that players can simply refrain from using previously accumulated resources. However, self-restraint is different from system rules. Just as a softcore player's promise to delete their character upon death doesn't guarantee the same experience as a hardcore player, a true fresh start must be guaranteed by the game's rules.
Currently, more and more in-game progress is shared, which does improve convenience. However, even starting from Level 1, an external character remains within an account environment accumulated over many years - the large number of Diablo 4 items players have previously accumulated can still be used through shared stashes and other systems, making a true start-from-zero experience difficult.
Seasonal changes can indeed solve this problem because each season resets progress and the economy. But the issue is that the desired fresh start only occurs according to the season's schedule.
Therefore, a fresh start in the external realm isn't meant to replace seasons, but rather to fill the void they leave: allowing players to restart at any time and permanently retain their progress from scratch.
SSF Shows Technically Feasible
Fortunately, Diablo 4 already has a similar technological precedent. Season 14's Solo Self-Found (SSF) gave characters independent stash, currency, and Paragon progress, separate from seasonal characters. While SSF is still seasonal, it at least proved that progress isolation between different characters is possible.
Therefore, adding a fresh start option to the external realm isn't entirely impractical. It doesn't even require new maps or content; simply isolating characters from existing account resources is sufficient.
Neither Hand Crossbow nor fresh start has been officially confirmed yet. But they at least reflect a clear change: players are actually looking for a reason to re-experience Diablo 4.
A new class can bring new builds and gameplay; a fresh start can give meaning to equipment, resources, and the progression process. It remains to be seen which method the official team will choose, or even whether it will be announced at BlizzCon, but the answer will be revealed soon.
