Scoundrel's Leathers treats Death Trap as both an ultimate skill and a core skill, so casting Death Trap triggers Beastfall Boots, consuming a large amount of energy and further triggering Preparation cooldown reduction.

Aftermath and Resource Regeneration

After energy consumption, the next step is to replenish resources. Aftermath allows you to restore energy after casting your ultimate skill. The amount restored is related to your ultimate skill ranks; therefore, the higher the Death Trap skill ranks, the more energy you restore.

In addition, Beastfall Boots themselves also provide energy regeneration. Its "using a cooldown restores 25 energy" effect is also boosted by resource generation.

Core Mechanics

Blazing Scream Warlock's main damage skill continuously applies a burning effect (from Metamorphosis) to itself. Simultaneously, this skill launches numerous minor demons that bounce off. These demons count as enemy deaths upon being killed, triggering multiple kill-and-heal effects.

While Warlock's base healing rate is relatively low, by eliminating dozens of minor demons per second, you can still gain a significant amount of healing.

The unique pants: Temerity will convert your excess healing into a shield, perfectly offsetting the damage from self-ignition and providing a stable survival barrier.

The effectiveness of Talisman system hinges on the synergy between seals and charms, with charm placement built upon the foundation of the seals themselves.

To date, several mainstream seal setups have emerged in Diablo 4 featuring fixed charm choices; however, the introduction of Mythic charms is set to disrupt this landscape.

Consider the most common standard seal setup: a combination of 5 set charms and 1 unique charm. This 6-slot configuration allows you to secure the full 5-piece set bonus while simultaneously unlocking an additional effect.

With the arrival of Mythic charms, you can upgrade that single equipped unique charm to Mythic quality. This grants an immediate net damage increase of at least 10% without requiring any changes to your talents or overall build configuration.

In contrast, another popular setup, the 4+2 configuration based on Seal of the Diamond Mind, risks becoming a suboptimal choice. This setup eschews all standard Diablo 4 unique charms in favor of activating multiple set bonuses.

Since it utilizes no unique charms, this setup cannot benefit from the enhancements provided by Mythic charms, leading to a significant decline in its relative competitiveness.

However, the build poised to gain the most from these changes is Seal of the Golden Epiphany 3+3 setup.

This setup incorporates three unique charms; if you are lucky enough to upgrade all of them to Mythic quality, the build will benefit from three multiplicative scaling effects, resulting in extraordinary power.

Existing unique charms that boost damage can be broadly categorized into three tiers based on their base damage multipliers.

This implies that the power gains achievable through Mythic charms will vary, and the damage ceilings for various seal setups could far exceed what you might currently imagine.
