In the current ARPG genre, Diablo 4’s biggest competitor, besides Diablo 2 in the same series, is Path of Exile 2, which has been hyping up since the second half of last year. Their similar loot-driven gameplay, character customization features, and fast-paced combat features attract very similar player groups.
However, the design concepts and core concerns held by Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 are completely different, such as the design of the game world and the adaptability of the gameplay and environment, which has led to the fact that their player groups are essentially very different: D4 players value the open world exploration experience more, while POE 2 players pay more attention to the challenges in the game.
In fact, when comparing the two games, many players are calling on the developers of POE 2 to learn from Diablo 4 and create an open world in the game. But in all aspects, POE 2 is not suitable for porting this feature from D4 to the game. If you’re interested, you can find all the reasons for this guide, which may deepen your understanding of both games.
Although Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 are both loot-driven, Diablo 4 focuses more on wide accessibility and immersive storytelling. Given the many mysterious and story-filled quests in D4, the open game world provides players with a large area to explore in order to better understand the background and story settings of the entire game.
This allows players to enjoy the specific content throughout the game world that the developers have created for them while exploring the game, while also enjoying the fun of loot that comes with combat. In addition, compared to other MMO games, D4’s unique streamlined game mechanics, such as farming Diablo 4 Gold and some loot, combined with these highly story-based game experiences, will make it faster for both new and old players of this type of game to get started.
For Path of Exile 2, the depth, complexity, and re-playability of the story in the game are the key points, which discourage players who prefer to define their gaming time as leisure time. For example, the very large passive skill tree, more than 10 available classes, and those very complex builds will bother those players with lower levels.
Coupled with the fact that most of the game content in POE 2 is more challenging than D4, players gradually give up the game because of too many deaths and rebirths in it. If an open world is added in this case, the difficulty of player exploration will be greatly increased, and the player base will gradually decrease, and even weaken the market share of this game in the ARPG space where the update is very fast.
In Diablo 4, the open game world means that players can explore multiple locations at the same time, which is very convenient for targeted farming and gaining more experience points.
For example, when summoning Uber Bosses, after you have collected all the summoning materials in other locations, you can rely on the teleportation portal in the open world to reach the location directly where you can summon and immediately fight the boss, which greatly reduces the time spent on shuttling between exploration areas and speeds up the game process.
However, for POE 2, the maps are all generated by instance areas and programs, and you need to use Waystones to unlock them. Although this item is very common in the game, it will incur a lot of unnecessary costs for those maps that need to be entered repeatedly.
In addition, because all maps are generated by programs, most maps outside of major towns are randomly generated each time you enter, which means that the location where you fight or farm on the second day differs completely from the first day, and you may need to start exploring again.
Although this situation can ensure that players are fresh about the game content and the environment they explore, it is very disadvantageous for those players who have limited game time every day, because they need to spend the same or more time to familiarize themselves with the new map when they explore again. This also determines that POE 2 cannot adopt an open world, because resetting an open world is completely impossible.

When you explore the battle in Diablo 4, you will find that you are far away from the enemy, whether you are using the melee-focused Barbarian or the ranged spell damage-focused Sorcerer. Thanks to the open world in this game, the strategies you can use in combat are very diverse - whether it is advocating evasion or attacking, suitable for players of various game styles.
However, in Path of Exile 2, because of the diligence and awareness advocated by the developers, you can only complete the battle in the close-range world. This means that you may not have enough places to escape or dodge, but must bite the bullet and fight the enemy, and use a lot of flasks and potions to continue the entire battle, which is very unfriendly to some players who are willing to use a defensive game style.
Although both D4 and POE 2 will face the situation of fighting against group enemies, in D4, if you are not interested in the loot they drop, you can completely bypass them or not fight with them, because in the open world, as long as you leave the attack range of these enemies, they will no longer challenge you. Killing them in POE 2 is more useful than avoiding them, as defeating them is the mark in completing a run on a limited map.
But you can still feel the benefits of an open world in POE 2. You can complete the operation of the entire map and various mechanisms in a very difficult endgame. In general, the open world in Diablo 4 provides an excellent platform for those players who are trying this kind of large-scale game for the first time; and the complex map mechanisms and game mechanisms in POE 2 are more suitable for players who have a certain game foundation and an independent game consciousness. I wish you a happy game!
For Diablo 4, regularly updating seasons is not only to give you a fresher gaming experience, but also to take the opportunity to make the game better by optimizing various aspects of the game mechanics.
Usually about halfway through the current season, the developers of Diablo 4 will hold a campfire chat to summarize the current season progress and give you a preview of the main content of the next season. However, this time the preview of Season 9 seems to come earlier than ever before.
At 11 am on May 22, the official held the latest campfire chat, which was less than a month after the launch of Season 8. Based on this, we will introduce you to the main information announced in this live broadcast to pave the way for your Season 9 experience.
Although the simultaneous launch of Vessel of Hatred and Season 6 last year amazed you with its rich content and high playability, the new seasons after that have been criticized by players for being too homogeneous, including the ongoing Season 8.
Take this season as an example. The biggest features of boss power and the return of Belial are indeed attractive, but the boss power mechanism itself is actually a variant of the old season power, without substantial innovation, and Belial boss battle does not bring any special mechanism.
And Apparition Incursions event, another major content of the eighth season, actually just forces you to repeat the same battle over and over again, and complete the upgrade and Diablo 4 gold farming by obtaining magic boss power - although this is important, the boring battle is indeed unbearable.
Therefore, it can be seen from the campfire chat that the development team seems to intend to change this situation starting from Season 9, and strive to ensure that you have the opportunity to carry out various activities in the future Diablo 4, rather than being trapped in a specific activity.
In Diablo 4, most PTRs are small “new seasons” that allow you to experience the gameplay of the next season in advance in the form of testing, and make corrections and adjustments in time based on your feedback and other players’ feedback, so that the new season will be more perfect when it is officially launched.
The core of this PTR 2.3.0 is Season 9, Sins of the Horadrim. PTR will be officially launched on May 27 and will last until June 3 (about a week like in the past), during which you can experience the new content that is now basically confirmed to appear in Season 9.
As an important source of your gold, XP and basic gear farming in Diablo 4, Nightmare Dungeon is a very important game mechanic. It has been running since the game was launched in 2023, and now it is time to make it better.
First, the dungeon itself will add an advanced mode called Escalating Nightmares, which allows you to challenge three nightmare dungeons in a row, and each dungeon will add new affixes that can increase both difficulty and rewards.
When you complete all the challenges brought by these three dungeons, you will usher in a final boss battle, but the premise is that you have obtained Strongrooms in challenges that require Torment 1 and above, and collected enough Escalating Nightmare Sigil from them to unlock the boss battle.
You may wonder what Strongrooms are, in fact, it comes from another update to Nightmare Dungeons. Season 9 will add a new micro-dungeon called Horadric Strongrooms to Nightmare Dungeons, and the entrance is hidden in Nightmare Dungeon.
Find the entrance and enter, and you can start collecting Horadric ‘attunement’ by killing enemies. This item can increase the number of rewards you get after killing the boss in this dungeon and unlocking its Strongroom.
This boss, like Belial from Season 8, is a return of an existing Diablo villain (old boss). The value of Astaroth is that when he appeared in the game in the past, his encounters were among the most interesting of all bosses.
In order to avoid the misunderstanding of “old wine in new bottles”, the developers said in the chat that they would not let Astaroth simply integrate into the existing boss ladder directly, but would try to find ways to integrate bosses in different ways to make the main content of the final boss battle more innovative.
Well, Diablo 4 does not seem to intend to abandon the representative mechanism of seasonal power just because of the dissatisfaction of players. To be honest, what you are tired of is not the mechanism itself, but the fact that different powers in different seasons always play the same form in the end in actual battles.
For this reason, the development team said that compared to the boss power or witch power that can be used directly after unlocking, Season 9 Horadric Spells will allow you to customize this power yourself and create your own Horadric Spell in a form similar to build.
Since neither PTR nor Season 9 has been launched yet, it is still impossible to judge the practicality of this mechanism. However, at least from the design concept, it is indeed more creative than the existing seasonal power and worth looking forward to.
In addition to the above three core contents, it is expected that Season 9 will continue to optimize each class on the basis of bringing new content, so that they can ensure it maintains balanced class strength while fitting in with the theme of the new season.
If you are interested in the changes in Season 9, please experience and evaluate it immediately when PTR 2.3.0 is launched. I wish you a happy game!
In general, if you choose Barbarian as your class in Diablo 4, it seems that you will attack enemies in a “brute force but slow” way. Although some Barbarian skills are true, in fact, this class can also achieve quick wins with other skills and related builds.
After entering Diablo 4 Season 8, the seasonal event Apparition Incursions is a worthy priority event, because it provides you with the opportunity to farm Diablo 4 gold and magic boss power through many ordinary enemies and Apparition bosses. And if you complete it at a higher difficulty, the loot will be more.
On this basis, if you want to clear enemies in the event more efficiently while playing as Barbarian, or complete other Season 8 dungeons faster, it is recommended that you craft and utilize Whirlwind Barbarian Endgame Build.
In fact, this build is not a new Barbarian build. It has already appeared and played a role in previous seasons. The operating mechanism of this build is to improve the character’s versatility, damage and survivability through 3 Shouts, then let Iron Skin increase defense value, and generate additional Fury through Call of the Ancients.
After entering the eighth season, the reason why Whirlwind Barbarian Endgame is worth re-activating is that the skill Gohr’s Devastating Grips has been reworked this season, allowing Whirlwind Barbarian to have new winning ideas besides Nature or Earthquake, and more efficiently!
Based on combining the best skills, this build can achieve high damage value, larger attack range in battle, and more effectively attack distant enemies by closing the distance between them, and can produce reliable synergy with Runewords.
As for the shortcomings, on the one hand, the operation process of the entire build is highly repetitive, which is a bit dull compared to other more fancy builds; on the other hand, the effect is poor when fighting single bosses. But at least for Apparition Incursions, this build is still very useful.
Almost all Diablo 4 builds are crafted with active skills as the core, and then passive skills and gear are used to further enhance these active skills that can output damage. For Whirlwind Barbarian Endgame, it is recommended that you choose the following skills:
Active Skills
Passive Skills
After choosing and mastering the above skills, you need to cast them in a fixed order during the battle, and then repeat the whole process until all enemies are dead:
Skills are the foundation of the build. If you want to use them to deal with more difficult battles, especially Torment 4 with top difficulty, you must farm more precious gear to further improve your various attributes. The gear that’s best for Whirlwind Barbarian Endgame includes:
The above gear is basically dropped by completing boss battles, so it’s really tricky to collect. You can replace some of them according to your actual situation, but it has to be said that it may reduce the lethality of the build.
Any season’s exclusive power is worth paying attention to and using, not to mention that in Season 8, these powers that originally belonged to powerful bosses are so attractive! To maximize the effectiveness of the build, it is recommended that you equip the following 4 boss powers:
This power is triggered when you use your core skill Whirlwind, dealing damage and debuff to enemies. It is worth noting that since Whirlwind is actually always active during combat, this boss power will also always be active.
You can deal fire damage to enemies when you trigger Earthquakes, and this modifier power can further increase your fire damage.
In addition to the debuffs caused by the main power Wandering Death’s Chest Beam, Harbinger of Hatred’s Volley will multiply this effect for five seconds.
Gives you a bonus to your critical strike chance.
Once you’ve completed Whirlwind Barbarian Endgame Build as described above, you should actually be strong enough to handle most of Diablo 4 Season 8 content, even Torment 4 difficulty! Good luck!
Whenever you enter the world of Diablo 4, the first step is to create a new character and choose a class for it. After that, all the skills, appearances, unique items and more that you can utilize often depend on your class.
On this basis, game builds that mainly rely on skills and gear to craft will naturally vary depending on the class. And when the game changes seasons, the strongest builds for each class will also change due to changes in bosses or adjustments to dungeon mechanisms.
Based on this, this time we will use Season 8 as the background to introduce to you which build is suitable for each of the 6 classes in Diablo 4 as the mainstream build of the season.
Compared to other Spiritborn builds, Quill Volley will focus more on damage output, and at the same time have reliable tank capabilities and high mobility. But to enjoy these benefits, you must pair it with rarer gear.
For this reason, in fact, before completing the craft of this build, you need to go through very hard battles to accumulate enough Diablo 4 gold and gear to complete Quill Volley. But the advantage is that it can help you get higher combat efficiency than others after entering the endgame.
To do this, you’ll need the following skills and gear for this build:
Active Skills
Gear
If you want to quickly clear enemies as a Sorcerer in Season 8, and complete most of the seasonal missions and endgame dungeons with maximum efficiency, then Lightning Spear is still the best choice.
As its name suggests, this build mainly outputs power through Lightning Spear and Aspect of Splintering Energy. On the other hand, you can also match it with the appropriate seasonal power boss power in addition to gear to make this build more powerful.
Gear
Boss Powers
Compared to the best builds of the first two classes, Barbarian’s Call of the Ancients may has be forgotten by you for a long time, but it has to be said that after the mechanism of adjustment in Vessel of Hatred last year, it can now play a good effect in Season 8.
This build mainly increases the damage of the build by maximizing the duration of the core skill Call of the Ancients to help you deal with Torment difficulty and the single boss in it. However, due to the characteristics of the skills, this build is not suitable for fast gold farming.
Active Skills
Gear
For this class, the focus of builds selection this season is still blood-oriented. Both Blood Spear and Blood Wave can play a good role, but they actually have different advantages and disadvantages. You can decide which one to choose based on our introduction.
This build mainly uses the main skill Bone Spear and the unique item Indira’s Memory to play a role. It not only has a large enough damage range, but also guarantees overpowers. At the same time, Indira’s Memory can also change the visual effects of the skill, making the battle more enjoyable.
As for the shortcomings, the problem with Blood Spear is that it relies too much on essence during utilization. You must devote your energy to provide a stable source of essence for it. In addition, the freedom of choice when assigning skill points to appropriate skills is low.
This build can output stable and powerful damage through the skill Blood Wave, easily dealing with groups or single enemies, and the gameplay is simple and easy to understand, suitable for most players. As for the shortcomings, it is mainly reflected in the fact that collecting blood orbs is very time-consuming.
For Rogue, we recommend that you choose Death Trap as the core build in Season 8. Combining the skill of the same name with the armor Scoundrel’s Leathers, this build will allow you to easily defeat enemies through continuous teaming and gain a lot of cooldown time through the game loop.
Active Skills
Gear
You might be wondering, why the hell is Cataclysm again? But it has to be said that classics are timeless. As a veteran build for a veteran class, Cataclysm is your best choice when you are in trouble as a Druid in Diablo 4.
This build mainly revolves around the key skill Cataclysm and extends its duration and power by matching it with appropriate gear and runes to cope with most game content.
Active Skills
Gear
If there are any of the above builds that you think are good and correspond to the class you are playing, then why not complete it and use it in battle? Try it now!
From an aesthetic point of view, Necromancer may be the most in line with the game style of all Diablo 4 classes: gloom, death and decay. In fact, this class also brings wonderful combat performance based on fully reflecting this style.
In the previous seasons, several blood-dominated Necromancer builds became popular and became mainstream, such as Blood Bone Spear, Blood Lance and more. Of course, they are still viable in Season 8, but I don’t know if you still remember Minion Endgame Build.
In addition to the available skills, Necromancer can also summon the army of the undead or golems to clear enemies through the class-exclusive mechanism Book of the Dead, and you can even further upgrade them. Minion Necromancer Endgame Build was born based on this.
Next, we will introduce to you how to make this build easier to utilize and increase the speed of clearing enemies after entering Season 8. Let’s take a look!
This build provides you with multiple damage multipliers and sources of sustained damage in combat, allowing you to farm Diablo 4 gold or other more valuable items in difficult endgame dungeons such as The Pit or Kurast Undercity.
This is primarily because the build can deal more damage to enemies through Blight, Skeletal Warrior Mastery, and Skeletal Mage Mastery, and then continue to increase the damage by upgrading Hellbent Commander and matching the right gear.
In terms of survivability, different skills can be used in different ways, such as:
As for weaknesses, the main one is that since this build is an endgame build, it may only work in the late game and will not help you level up your character much. Other shortcomings include:
In addition to the available skills that have been introduced to you, this build needs to further combine more Necromancer skills and rotate them in a fixed order to maximize the effect of all skills. The best rotation order is as follows:
It is worth noting that when attacking an enemy through Reap, if the enemy dies, you will continue to gain the attack speed bonus, and even your minions can inherit the bonus from your attributes, causing more damage in combat.
This mechanic allows you to summon 3 types of minions, namely Skeletal Warriors, Skeletal Mages, and Golems, and each has 3 specializations, namely:
The best Book of the Dead utilize plan for Minion Necromancer Endgame Build is:
Skirmisher can be combined with Ring of Mendeln to provide more damage, and Skeletal Priests and Blood Orbs can not only heal your minions, but also prolong the survival time of Shadow Mages.
The main purpose of all the gear you need to add to this build involves maximizing the damage of your minions, as well as all sources of sustained damage, including:
As a feature of this season, boss power is worth adding to all builds. You can carry one main power and three modifier powers for each battle. For Minion Endgame, the most suitable boss power is:
The above is the combination and utilization method to make Minion Necromancer Endgame Build more powerful in Diablo 4 Season 8. If you need it, you can log in to the game to try it. Thank you for reading.
After entering Diablo 4, your Sanctuary battle journey officially begins! Whether you want to advance the main story first or want to clear the early dungeons to complete Diablo 4 gold accumulation, you can’t do without battles of all sizes.
Faced with this situation, in order for your character to complete the battle as quickly as possible while ensuring the health value, you not only need to increase the defense value, but also must do everything possible to improve your damage output ability, and eliminate the enemy by causing more damage at one time.
In fact, there are many ways to do this, but considering the differences between different Diablo 4 seasons, these methods also need to be adjusted regularly. Based on this, we will introduce you how to increase your damage by 100 times or more in Diablo 4 Season 8.
To find out the origin of a river, you must trace it back to the source along its flow path. If you want to know how to increase the damage of Diablo 4 characters, you must at least know where your damage comes from in the game.
There is no doubt that character skills are the most basic and important source of damage. In comparison, other methods are actually combinations or upgrades of various skills. When you create a new Diablo 4 Season 8 character, you can choose a class, and all the skills used in battle are exclusive to that class.
When you are familiar with all the skills and enter a deeper level of the game, you can follow the guide or explore craft class builds on your own, and combine items and gear to increase your damage output. In addition, mercenaries, summons or other class-specific mechanisms can also provide you with additional damage output.
There are currently 6 classes available in Season 8, each of which has its own strengths and can play a different role in battle. As a player, you must have the habit of playing ARPG or Diablo 4. Although new classes are more attractive, if you want to become a damage master as soon as possible in the new season, familiar classes will definitely be more suitable.
After mastering most of the practical skills, you should find that some skills can be used in a specific rotation order to hit the enemy without breathing time, which is more powerful than blindly casting high-damage skills. This is the prototype of builds.
After that, you can organize this rotation more systematically and match these items with your basic builds during the farming process, so that unique items or legendary aspects can become the icing on the cake and play their due value.
As we have already mentioned, precious Diablo 4 items can help you improve your builds, but these items are not always 100% dropped, and the more precious and effective they are, the harder they are to get.
For this reason, if your ability allows, it is best to farm game items at high levels of Torment difficulty. This will not only increase the chance of getting relevant drops, but also accumulate rich combat experience and learn how to increase the damage value in specific battles.
Glyphs are also called Paragon glyphs, their existence itself is to strengthen your character. When your character reaches the maximum level 60, it can no longer be strengthened through upgrading. At that time, besides the builds and items, glyphs are the most powerful booster.
Glyphs are usually found in various places when you explore, and then they are inserted into special slots on each Paragon panel. They will provide you with significant bonuses based on the number of active tiles within their radius.
It is worth noting that you can continue to upgrade glyphs. The higher the level, the larger the radius of effect, which will have a greater impact on more active tiles on Paragon board.
Since the launch of Vessel of Hatred DLC last year, the way glyphs are upgraded has changed from relying on experience to depending on your level of The Pit. The Pit is one of the endgame dungeons with 150 tiers, and each completed floor can get different rewards.
After completing Artificer’s Mastery, you will get three opportunities to upgrade the glyph level, and if you do not die during the challenge, you will also get an additional upgrade attempt.
It is worth noting that the chance of upgrading a glyph depends on the level of the glyph and the level of The Pit you have completed. For example, completing The Pit tier 10 higher than your glyph level will give you a guaranteed upgrade. And when you complete The Pit tier that is much higher than your current glyph level, each subsequent attempt will give you a bonus upgrade opportunity.
First of all, it is worth introducing the mercenary mechanism that debuted in DLC. This mechanism allows you to recruit two mercenaries and bring them into battle. One of them is the main one, and the other is a reinforcement, which will provide you with support in different combat situations.
There are currently 4 mercenaries in the game, namely Raheir, Varyana, Aldkin and Subo. They have different skills, suitable for different classes to carry, and they also have corresponding skill trees, which you can use to unlock and upgrade the mercenary skills.
In addition, all classes in Diablo 4 have their own unique mechanism to play combat effects in the most class-specific form. They are:
Most Diablo 4 seasons have Season Powers, which are not only a feature of the season, but also one of the best ways to deal more damage - at least they are very useful in the corresponding season. In Season 8, this power is boss power.
Boss powers can be obtained by killing 24 bosses in the season. After that, in a single battle, you can choose a main power and 3 modifier powers to equip, combining all the mechanics and content mentioned above to further increase your damage and become more powerful.
These are the main ways to maximize your damage output in Diablo 4 Season 8. I hope it can inspire you! Have fun!
It’s been almost a month since the launch of Diablo 4 Season 8. How far have you progressed in the game? According to the richness of this season, if you play almost every day during this period, then it shouldn’t be long before you encounter the ultimate boss Belial!
As the main villain of the entire Diablo series and one boss of Diablo 3, Belial’s return in D4 has caused discussion in the game community since the relevant news was released, which will also make you look forward to the duel with him even more.
Before Season 8, in order to unlock this difficult boss battle, you must collect the relevant summoning materials in advance to summon the boss. This season has reformed this mechanism, changing the summoning materials to lair keys that unlock the boss hoard after the battle.
In other words, without these keys, you will not be able to get Diablo 4 gold or exclusive unique items after the battle, even if you win! For Belial, his exclusive lair keys are Betrayer’s Husk. To ensure that your final boss battle is worthwhile, we will introduce you to the way to obtain this “key”.
In fact, you should have known before Season 8 was launched that the endgame boss was changed to lair boss in this season, and the summoning material was also changed to lair keys - this new Diablo 4 item can be used to open the boss hoard.
All lair bosses are divided into three levels: Initiate, Greater, and Exalted. Killing low-level bosses can obtain the hoard keys of high-level bosses, so that you can kill high-level bosses and take away their boss power while obtaining relevant loot. And Betrayer’s Husk is the keys of the final boss Belial in Season 8.
Since this lair key determines whether you can get the most important boss loot of this season, its drop channel is not single, but not all farming methods are equally efficient and reliable. Next, I will introduce them one by one.
As the only Exalted lair boss in the game, Belial’s lair key Betrayer’s Husk will not drop directly by defeating other Greater bosses, but will randomly refresh Belial’s Belial’s base form when you open the hoards of other bosses. You can only get Betrayer’s Husk by defeating him.
Or you can also have a chance to get this key by completing the exclusive event Apparition Incursion in Season 8. When you refresh the event on the map, enter it and start killing ordinary Apparition enemies to fill the relevant progress slots.
Once this progress bar is filled, you will encounter two random Apparition bosses in the current event. After defeating them, you can encounter Belial’s base form while harvesting the corresponding boss power, and then you can start Betrayer’s Husk farming.
It is worth noting that Betrayer’s Husk seems to only drop under Torment difficulty. Lair boss battles only appear in Torment difficulty, but Apparition Incursion can be experienced at any difficulty, so if you want to get Betrayer’s Husk through this event, make sure the difficulty setting is Torment 1 and above.
After entering Season 8, Tree of Whispers is still your main way to obtain key resources such as gold and XP, and the ultimate reward Whisper caches also have a chance to bring you the lair keys you need.
Once you enter the endgame and find Tree of Whispers, it will issue you a series of bounties that will earn you different amounts of Grim Favors. After every ten Grim Favors you accumulate, you can return to Tree of Whispers to redeem Whisper caches.
Opening these caches may earn you gear for your class, or even better legendary items, but in Season 8 you’ll also have a chance to get the rare lair key Betrayer’s Husk.
Although the chance of dropping Betrayer’s Husk is low, since completing Tree of Whispers is a task you should complete in all Diablo 4 seasons, it’s a good idea to give it a try without wasting your time.
This season, all the benefits are still with you! In addition to the new battle pass system updated as Reliquaries, season blessings and season journey will bring you relevant rewards at any time based on your game progress.
Season 8 journey includes multiple chapters, each with a different number of objectives for you to complete. Greater lair caches in the rewards after completion have a chance to bring Betrayer’s Husk or other lair boss keys, and the chance is slightly higher than Whisper caches.
After obtaining this item, please travel to Palace of the Deceiver dungeon, located in Kehjistan under any Torment difficulty, then find boss Belial and start the battle (this dungeon can only be unlocked by completing questline The Lord of Lies).
After winning the fight, consuming two Betrayer’s Husks will unlock Belial’s hoard, which will give you the chance to pick any other lair bosses’ loot, as well as a possible ancestral unique.
The above are all Betrayer’s Husks farm methods. Perhaps the game will add other playable content to help you get these lair keys before the end of Season 8. Let us look forward to it together!
