What Do You Need To Know About Farming Nightmare Dungeons In Diablo 4 Season 8?
Dungeons are an important mechanic for most ARPGs. Although different dungeons may have different background stories or built-in quests, there is no doubt that they are designed to provide you with a place to farm game resources through combat. As a top-level ARPG, Diablo 4 naturally has a variety of dungeons to farm.
Generally speaking, Diablo 4 will add some seasonal additional dungeons for you to explore when a new season arrives. Although playing them can get some seasonal items and special fun, it has to be said that those Diablo 4 dungeon types that have accompanied you through multiple seasons are the truly reliable source of Diablo 4 Gold! For example, the nightmare dungeon we are going to introduce to you this time.
Maybe you think you are familiar with nightmare dungeons because you are an old Diablo 4 player, but because the game often adjusts the regular mechanics when a new season arrives-for example, you used to be able to upgrade glyphs in this dungeon, but after Vessel of Hatred expansion went online, the place for glyph upgrades became The Pit. Therefore, in order to fully guarantee your Season 8 nightmare dungeon experience, we will once again provide you with relevant game guides.
What Is Nightmare Dungeon?
As you know, from a functional point of view, all Diablo 4 dungeons can be regarded as a resource output location. Of course, the premise is that you can kill the enemies in it. However, the amount and rarity of resources provided by dungeons of different difficulties are also different. If you want to improve the efficiency of resource acquisition by challenging high-difficulty dungeons, you must use other methods to obtain the key to convert ordinary dungeons into advanced dungeons.
So if you want to enter the nightmare dungeon, you need to have enough Nightmare Sigils and then consume it to generate (or convert) the nightmare dungeon. After generating and entering it, you will find that the layout of these nightmare dungeons is random, and the events that may be encountered in them are also random, usually Resplendent Chest boss or other known events.
After completing these nightmare dungeon events, the game will reward equipment of different qualities and different amounts of Diablo 4 Gold and Obols according to the specific difficulty. If you want to continue to get more rewards by increasing the difficulty on this basis, you can use Nightmare Portal affix to increase the difficulty of the dungeon, then destroy the portal and kill various monsters that are not common in the dungeons in a specific area, such as The Butcher, which has a very random probability of appearing.
There are currently more than 140 ordinary dungeons available for exploration in the game, but not all dungeons can be used as nightmare dungeons, because only a subset of these dungeons can be converted into nightmare dungeons. As for which part can be converted, it depends on the seasonal arrangement of Season 8 in the future. In addition, if you do not enter the corresponding nightmare dungeon within 2 minutes after conversion, it will automatically close.
How To Get Nightmare Sigils?
As an important conversion item, it can be said that without Nightmare Sigils, you will never be able to enter the Diablo 4 nightmare dungeon, so we must introduce you to two ways to obtain this item.
1. Direct Drops
This method requires you to work hard to complete other Diablo 4 events and quests, mainly including completing Whispers of the Dead to obtain corresponding rewards, defeating world bosses, killing enemies in nightmare dungeons to obtain random drops, and fixed rewards for completing a nightmare dungeon.
If you are not lucky enough, cannot always find Nightmare Sigils in random drops, or find it difficult to defeat those bosses, then it is recommended that you consider the second method.
2. Crafting With Sigil Powder
Generally speaking, it only takes 4,000 gold and 60 Sigil Powder to craft a Nightmare Sigil, and Sigil Powder is mainly dropped through caches and defeating elites. After obtaining enough crafting materials, you need to go to Occultist, because only they can complete the crafting process.
Addable Affixes
As we have already mentioned, adding affixes to a nightmare dungeon can change its difficulty. Specifically, there are two types of affixes. One is the affixes that are good for you, including:
- Ancestral Awakening: The amount of XP you gain increases by 10%
- Gold Find: The amount of gold you gain increases by 30%
The other type of affixes makes enemies more powerful, including:
- Avenger
- Blood Blister
- Drifting Shade
- Elemental Totems
- Empowered Elites (Poison Enchanted)
- Empowered Elites (Shock Lance)
- Empowered Elites (Suppressor)
- Monster Barrier
- Nightmare Portal
- Stormbane’s Wrath
- Volcanic
The Value Of Nightmare Dungeons-Rich Rewards
Whether you want to earn specific items, XP for upgrades, Paragon points or gold, nightmare dungeons can do it, but its real value lies in providing you with Obducite. This item can be used to upgrade Masterworking, which is to increase the value of the existing affixes of the item, making your character more powerful. It is worth noting that completing Infernal Hordes can also do this.
The above is some knowledge you need to know in advance when farming nightmare dungeons in Diablo 4 Season 8. It is expected that some seasonal content may be added to the dungeon before and after the official launch of the season, or some changes to make it get more seasonal characteristic (boss power). Please be sure to pay attention to relevant information in time, or we will also bring you instant info! Thank you for reading!

All-New D4Gold.com Points System Guide: Daily Check-ins, 10x Points on First Orders, and Comparing VIP Discounts vs. 8% Discount Codes
Welcome to D4Gold.com! To thank you for your continued trust and support, we are officially launching the all-new D4Gold Points System, designed to bring you more rewards and flexible shopping benefits.
Whether you are a newly registered user, a long-time VIP member, or a returning customer, you can earn Points through daily check-ins and by completing eligible orders. These Points can then be used to directly offset the cost of future purchases.
This guide covers how to earn Points, the 10x reward for your first order, Points validity, Points calculations following refunds, and how to choose between Points, VIP Discounts, and Discount Codes.
Points System Requirements
D4Gold Points are available exclusively to registered and logged-in users. Upon registration, your account automatically starts at VIP Level 1, currently offering a 1% discount. As your cumulative spending increases, your VIP Level can rise:
- VIP Level 1: 1% OFF
- VIP Level 2: 2% OFF
- VIP Level 3: 3% OFF
- VIP Level 4: 4% OFF
- VIP Level 5: 5% OFF
VIP Discounts and Points can be used simultaneously. By consistently using the same D4Gold account, you can accumulate Points while enjoying higher order discounts as your VIP Level rises.
Points, VIP Levels, and other account benefits are tied to your specific account and cannot be transferred, merged, or gifted to other accounts.
How to Earn Points?
Currently, there are two main ways to earn Points: daily check-ins and completing eligible orders.
Daily Check-in Points
Earn Points by logging in and completing the daily check-in. The longer your consecutive check-in streak, the more Points you earn each day:
- Day 1: 8 Points
- Day 2: 10 Points
- Day 3 and beyond: 12 Points per day
If you miss a day, your consecutive check-in streak resets. Your next check-in will start over at Day 1 rate (8 Points) rather than continuing at the 12-point daily rate. Daily check-ins are calculated based on the refresh time of the time zone where your D4Gold account was registered.
Checking in close to the refresh time carries a risk of missing the day's check-in because of network latency or page loading issues; this would break your consecutive check-in streak, causing the count to reset to Day 1 (8 Points) upon your next check-in.
Therefore, to ensure you consistently maintain your consecutive check-in rewards, we recommend completing your daily check-in well before the refresh time.
Where to Check In?
D4Gold offers multiple access points for check in, so you don't have to search for the specific page every time:
1. Go to My Account → Check In and click the current date on the calendar or CLAIM POINTS TODAY button at the bottom of the page.
2. Click CLAIM POINTS TODAY on My Orders, Personal Settings, or My Coupon pages.
3. Click Claim Now & Save More banner on the homepage for quick access to the check-in page.
4. Visit VIP Member page and click CLAIM POINTS TODAY to check in and collect the day's Points.
5.Click Claim Now & Save More banner directly on any product page to complete your daily check-in while browsing products.
Order Points
In addition to daily check-ins, you can also earn Points by completing eligible orders on D4Gold.com.
The base earning rate for standard orders is: $1 spent = 1 Point
Points are calculated based on the order subtotal. Amounts with decimals are rounded to the nearest whole number.
For example:
- An order of $55.26 earns 55 Points.
- An order of $41.56 earns 42 Points.
However, Points are only awarded for orders with a subtotal of $5 or more.
Orders with a subtotal below $5 do not generate Points. If you plan to purchase multiple items, consider combining them into a single order to avoid missing out on Points due to a low order value.
When are Points Credited?
Points are not credited to your account immediately after payment for a standard order.
Points are only added to your account once the order has been successfully completed and its status changes to Completed.
Points are not awarded for orders that are voluntarily cancelled, fully refunded, flagged for suspected fraud, or otherwise not successfully completed.
Therefore, it is normal for Points not to appear in your account immediately after a successful payment.
Partial Refund
If a partial refund occurs on an order for which Points have already been issued, the system will readjust Points generated by that order based on the refund amount and simultaneously return a proportional amount of Points used during the initial purchase.
Points earned from the order will be deducted based on the actual refund amount, so rounded to the nearest whole number.
If Points were used when placing the order, the returned amount is calculated using the following formula:
Returned Points = Points Used × (Refund Amount / Original Purchase Amount)
For example, suppose an account has 446 Points and places a $55.26 order, using all 446 Points to offset $4.46 of the cost.
This order would originally earn 55 Points.
If $15.02 of the order is subsequently refunded, approximately 15 Points must be deducted from the earned total, leaving a final balance of: 55 - 15 = 40 Points
446 Points originally used will be returned based on the refund ratio: 446 × ($15.02 / $55.26) ≈ 121 Points
The account will ultimately receive: 121 Returned Points + 40 Earned Points = 161 Points
Full Refund and Order Issue
If an order is voluntarily cancelled, fully refunded, flagged for fraud risk, or not successfully completed, no reward Points will be issued for that order.
Once an order has been successfully delivered and confirmed as complete, refund requests based on user-initiated reasons are not accepted.
If an order cannot be delivered and a refund is issued because of D4Gold.com's inventory, technical issues, or other internal factors, any Points used for that order will be returned based on the actual refund amount.
10x Points for New Users
Besides standard order rewards, newly registered users can earn 10x New Customer Points on their first eligible order.
Standard orders are calculated at: $1 = 1 Point
Whereas eligible first orders for new users are calculated at: $1 = 10 Points
For example, if a new user's first order has a subtotal of $50, they would normally receive: 50 × 10 = 500 Points
Based on the redemption rate of 100 Points = $1, this equates to $5 worth of Points that can be used for future orders.
First Order Under $5
A new user's first order is defined as the first successfully paid order placed on the account, regardless of whether that specific order earns Points.
For example, suppose a new account's first order is only $4.99.
Since the subtotal does not reach the $5 threshold, this order will not earn any Points, yet it will still be recorded as the account's First Order.
Consequently, even if a subsequent order reaches $50, the account will no longer qualify for the 10× New Customer Points promotion; Points will instead be awarded according to standard order rules.
Therefore, if you plan to purchase multiple items after registering, it is recommended to combine them into a single first order and ensure the subtotal is $5 or higher.
When 10× Points are Credited?
New Customer Points are subject to additional anti-fraud and risk assessment reviews.
Once the first order has been successfully delivered and confirmed free of refunds or irregularities, the 10× Points will be credited to the account within 24 hours.
Creating multiple accounts or repeatedly claiming New Customer Benefits via linked IP addresses, devices, payment accounts, or other methods may trigger the risk control system.
Points Value
D4Gold Points can be used directly at checkout to offset a portion of the order total.
The current redemption rate is fixed at: 100 Points = $1
Meaning: 1 Point = $0.01
For instance, having 500 Points in your account is equivalent to having $5 in credit to apply toward purchases.
Points are considered account rewards; they cannot be exchanged for cash, withdrawn, or transferred to other accounts.
Points Expiration
Points are valid for 90 days, with the validity period calculated individually for each batch of Points based on the date they are credited to the account.
For example, if a batch of Points is credited on Day 1, it will expire on Day 91. Points earned at different times have separate expiration dates; therefore, when accumulating Points over the long term, we recommend checking your balance regularly and using them wisely to prevent expiration after 90 days.
Maximum Points Deduction
The maximum deduction amount using Points is calculated in tiers based on the order subtotal:
Order Subtotal Max Points Deduction $5.00 - $39.99 7% $40.00 - $99.99 9% $100.00+ 11% The higher the order amount, the higher the maximum percentage that can be deducted using Points.
For example, on a $60 order, the maximum deduction using Points is approximately 9% (i.e., $5.40), corresponding to a maximum usage of about 540 Points.
The actual number of Points you can use also depends on your account balance.
Points + VIP Discount: Supported
Can Points be used in conjunction with VIP Discount?
Yes.
Points can be used alongside your account's VIP Discount.
For instance, a newly registered user with a VIP Level 1 status (1% off) can use Points to further reduce the actual payment amount on top of VIP Discount.
The higher VIP Level, the greater the total savings offered by this combination.
Points + Discount Code: Not Supported
Can Points be used with a discount code?
No.
Points and Discount Codes are two different promotional options and cannot be used simultaneously on the same order.
At checkout, the system compares:
- VIP Discount + Points
- Discount Code
The option that provides the better final price will be applied as Best Deal. You can also manually switch between available options at checkout.
Points vs. Discount Code
Which option offers better value depends on the discount currently available, your VIP Level, your order subtotal, and the number of Points in your account.
Points can be combined with your VIP Discount, while Discount Codes may offer different discount rates depending on the current promotion.
For example, larger orders allow a higher maximum Points deduction:
- $5.00 - $39.99: up to 7%
- $40.00 - $99.99: up to 9%
- $100.00+: up to 11%.
If you have enough Points available, combining Points with your VIP Discount may provide greater savings. However, if the current Discount Code offers a stronger discount or your Points balance is limited, Discount Code may be the better option.
Because Discount Code rates may vary, there is no fixed threshold at which one option is always better than the other.
Points are also valid for only 90 days. If the savings between the two options are similar, you may want to use Points that are close to expiring.
The final payable amount should always be based on Best Deal shown at checkout.
Frequently Asked Questions(FAQ)
Q1: Can I register multiple accounts to repeatedly claim the 10x Points offer for first-time orders?
A: We do not recommend doing this.
10x New Customer Points offer is subject to risk assessment. If the system detects multiple accounts sharing the same IP address, device, payment account, or other anomalous links, those accounts may be disqualified from receiving the promotional Points, and any rewards already issued may be revoked.
Accounts found to be seriously abusing the promotion may also face restrictions.
Q2: Can VIP levels and Points be transferred to another account?
A: No.
VIP levels, Points, and associated account benefits remain tied to the account where they were originally earned; they cannot be transferred, merged, or gifted to other accounts.
Therefore, if you plan to use D4Gold.com in the long term, we recommend sticking to a single account.
Q3: Can I restore my consecutive check-in streak if I miss a day because of network issues?
A:If a check-in is missed because of personal network latency or failure to check in before the daily reset, the record will reset according to standard rules; customer service cannot manually restore a missed day's check-in.
If the issue is confirmed to be caused by a widespread server outage or technical problem on D4Gold.com, a general announcement regarding Points compensation will be issued based on the situation.
Key Tips for New Users
For newly registered users, the most important Points rules can be summarized as follows:
- Upon registration, your account starts at VIP Level 1 with a 1% discount, and you can begin earning Points through daily check-ins and eligible orders.
- Make sure your first order reaches $5. First Order status is determined by the first successfully paid order. If your first order is only $4.99, it will still count as your First Order, but you will not receive the 10x Points bonus.
- Check in every day. After reaching a 3-day consecutive streak, you can earn 12 Points per day. If the streak is broken, your next check-in will restart at 8 Points.
- Use Points before they expire. Points are valid for 90 days from the date they are credited to your account.
- Compare VIP + Points with the current Discount Code at checkout. Discount Code rates may vary, so the better option depends on your VIP Level, Points balance, order subtotal, and the promotion currently available. The checkout page will automatically display Best Deal.
- Points are adjusted accordingly in the event of a partial refund. Points originally earned from an order will be deducted based on the refund amount, while Points already redeemed will be returned proportionally based on the refunded amount.
If you have any further questions about Points, orders, VIP benefits, or Discount Codes, please feel free to contact D4Gold.com online customer support.
D4Gold.com reserves the right of final interpretation regarding Points System and related promotional rules.

What Skills and Gear Does Abyss Apocalypse Warlock Need in Diablo 4 Season 16?
Diablo 4 Season 15's Warlock is incredibly powerful, and based on the PTR, it looks like this will continue into Season 16. However, the top build is no longer Blazing Scream, but Abyss Apocalypse Warlock.
This build can comfortably push beyond The Pit 140, and reaching Tier 150 is also achievable with further gear optimization. Even if it receives some nerfs before the official launch of Season 16, it should still remain one of the strongest Warlock builds available.
Diablo 4 Season 16 Abyss Apocalypse Warlock Build Showcases Trillion-Damage Potential Core Mechanics
Apocalypse
The main skill in this build is the ultimate ability Apocalypse. Combined with its Minefield variant, it deals massive damage and allows Apocalypse to benefit from all Abyss bonuses introduced in Season 16.
Survivor Damage increases the damage you deal to surviving enemies, stacking up to 12 times.
When combined with the 5-piece Rite of the Nameless set, dealing damage to enemies inside your Sigils grants up to 400% additional damage, up to 40% damage reduction, and allows you to cast Occult Skills for free for 6 seconds.
In other words, whenever this effect activates, you can unleash Apocalypse repeatedly without interruption. By using Sigil skills, you can also activate all your Sigils simultaneously and benefit from their full effects.
For Soul Shards, you should choose Ritualist Shard and Abyssal Fragment. You also need to use Command Volk skill to reduce Apocalypse's cooldown by killing enemies.
Talisman
In Season 16, Horadric Items allow you to gain multiple Talisman bonuses. This build not only benefits from the five-piece Rite of the Nameless set bonus but also incorporates the two-piece Fulcrum of Mefis set bonus.
The latter allows your Demons to gain Sadism for 20 seconds whenever they take damage or die. Each stack increases the damage your Demons take by 2%. Based on the damage your Demons deal to enemies, your own damage against those enemies can increase by up to 200%.
As for Talisman affixes, you should look for +Ranks to Abyss or Occult Skills on as many Talismans as possible to maximize Apocalypse's damage.
Diablo 4 Season 16 Horadric Items Soul Shards
This build also requires Night Terror, combined with Aspect of Deeper Shadows. Together, they allow you to gain 14 stacks of Shadow Form, granting up to 218% additional damage from Talisman. This bonus doubles to 436% while you are in Stealth.
With Rictus of Terror, you can obtain Unfathomable Fragment for free, and casting skills will no longer break Stealth. This allows you to maximize Night Terror's damage bonus.
Defense
For defense, this build uses Sadistic Aspect together with Temerity to generate massive amounts of shielding.
Bombardment triggers Sadistic Aspect's Life on Kill effect, which then generates additional shielding through Temerity.
Nether Step is the build's primary mobility skill, and it now also provides up to 60% damage reduction. You can therefore use it every 5 to 10 seconds to maintain high movement speed and substantial damage reduction.
Abyss Apocalypse Warlock Skills
Skills Enhancements Bombardment (Level 1) Additional Demon Telekinesis Endless Barrage Nether Step (Level 15) Damage Reduction Movement Speed Portals Sigil of Summons (Level 4) Damage Summon Succubus Stronger Summons Sigil of Chaos (Level 15) Sigil of Smoke Blood Ritual Chain Reaction Sigil of Subversion (Level 15) Blood Ritual Slow Infiltration Trails Apocalypse (Level 15) Minefield Epicenter Damage Survivor Damage When entering a dungeon, start by repeatedly casting Bombardment to build up stacks for the two-piece Fulcrum of Mefis set bonus while generating a substantial amount of shielding right from the beginning. Remember to summon Volk as well.
Next, use Nether Step to teleport directly to elite enemies. Activate your Sigil skills and command Volk before casting Apocalypse. Continue spamming Bombardment to reduce Apocalypse's cooldown, and use every Sigil skill on your action bar to trigger the free-cast effect.
When the free-cast effect activates, your skills will begin to glow. This is your signal to unleash Apocalypse repeatedly, wiping out groups of elite enemies with damage reaching tens or even hundreds of trillions.
Abyss Apocalypse Warlock Gear
Slots Gear Helm Rictus of Terror Chest Armor Fleshwrit Carapace Gloves Hands of the Worldbreaker Pants Temerity Boots Sadistic Aspect Amulet Night Terror Ring 1 Aspect of Calamity Ring 2 Aspect of Heresy Weapon Scepter of the Three Hands of the Worldbreaker allows Apocalypse to deal up to 390% additional damage when cast inside a Sigil of Chaos, based on the number of kills stored within it. It also makes Apocalypse count as a Sigil skill.
Rings 1 and 2 should not be ordinary Diablo 4 items. They need to be Horadric Items, with one ring providing +1 to Rite of the Nameless set bonus and the other providing +1 to Fulcrum of Mefis set bonus. Their individual effects also provide additional Critical Strike Chance and damage.
The weapon of choice is Scepter of the Three. Hitting enemies with non-Ultimate Skills, such as Sigils or Bombardment, grants Apocalypse up to 325% increased damage.
For Runes, since this build already has more than enough damage, you can focus entirely on survivability. Use Igni + Mot Runes to generate Dark Shroud, gaining Shadow stacks that reduce the damage you take.
Then use Igni + Que Runes to trigger Earthen Bulwark, generating additional Barrier. This works together with Temerity's overhealing-to-shield mechanic to further improve your survivability.
That covers everything you need to know about Abyss Apocalypse Warlock. Its gear requirements are relatively manageable, yet it delivers tremendous damage. It will be exciting to see how this build performs in The Pit when Diablo 4 Season 16 officially launches.

Can the Revamped Diablo 4 Season 16 PTR Zeal Paladin Build Finally Overcome Its Survivability Issues?
Ever since Paladin class was introduced to Diablo 4, Zeal Paladin has remained a popular build archetype. Although its popularity waned over the past few seasons due to issues inherent to the class itself, Season 16 marks a turning point.
This is likely because the optimizations made to Paladin in the current 3.3.0 PTR builds have effectively enhanced the overall performance of Zeal Paladin.
In this guide, we will break down these optimizations and provide tips for playing this build in Season 16.
Can the Revamped Diablo 4 Season 16 PTR Zeal Paladin Build Finally Overcome Its Survivability Issues? Changes in Season 16
A defining characteristic o Diablo 4 Zeal Paladin is that its core mechanic involves sacrificing the player's own health to deal damage, a trade-off that has historically made survivability a major pain point for the build.
While one could theoretically bypass this mechanic by focusing on evade mechanics, doing so would deviate from the traditional, pure Zeal Paladin playstyle.
In Season 16, however, the rework and optimization of certain Paladin class mechanics have significantly bolstered Zeal Paladin's survivability. Furthermore, a new set bonus has provided a substantial boost to its damage output.
Consequently, even if you opt for an evade-based variant of Zeal Paladin, you won't suffer any significant loss in damage, at least when tackling content at T12 difficulty level.
Moreover, the evade mechanic offers exceptional mobility, allowing you to pass directly through walls, a feat rarely possible in Diablo 4, save for the use of Teleport skill. When combined with other abilities like Falling Star, your movement efficiency is further amplified.
Overall, the revamped Zeal Paladin Build is fast-paced and straightforward to play; it doesn't require constant, frantic button-mashing or complex skill rotations. The only thing you truly need to keep an eye on is maintaining your Arbiter state.
The buff to Zealot Oath is key
Among Paladin reworks introduced in Diablo 4's Season 16, the enhancement to Zealot Oath stands out as the most impactful change for Zeal Paladin Build.
This is one of the specific elements within the class's specialization that has received a significant upgrade. Specifically, when your Fervor reaches its maximum, you now gain 15% damage reduction.
Furthermore, while Fortify effect remains exclusive to Zealot skills, it now provides a higher numerical value. When considered alongside other updates, this represents a significant boost.
Other mechanics tied to Fervor have also been updated, with a major change affecting Aspect of Jacques' Fervor.
Previously, this aspect granted a 20x multiplier to your critical strike damage for each stack of Fervor (up to a maximum of 4 stacks). Now, it consumes 5 Faith per second but provides a 30x damage multiplier.
This means the multiplier per stack has increased by 10x, resulting in a much more substantial total bonus when fully stacked to 4.
Additionally, there is a change that greatly benefits any Paladin build utilizing Dauntless Faith mechanic: hitting a target with a Zealot skill now triggers an effect called Do or Die, which increases your casting speed.
Diablo 4 Season 16 Zeal Paladin Build Tips for utilizing the new Zeal Paladin Build
In Diablo 4, there is no distinction between attack speed and casting speed; therefore, an increase in casting speed applies to all actions. This effect can also stack, allowing for a faster attack frequency while simultaneously triggering Rally skill.
Rally can automatically activate the empowered Arcadia pants. Notably, this effect now functions even if Rally is not slotted on your active skill bar, converting 50% of your Fortification into a Barrier and providing additional damage reduction.
This effectively acts as an extra Aspect, while also significantly enhancing the power of Que rune. When combined with stats like Barrier Generation, the effectiveness is boosted even further, greatly improving the survivability of Zeal Paladin Build.
It is worth noting that, in addition to Arcadia, this build requires other rare gear, such as Tyrael's Might. If you prefer not to invest excessive time farming for gear, you also have the option to buy Diablo 4 items directly.
Alternatively, using gear with Stealth properties can also be highly effective, as such items provide a bonus to attack speed. As for set bonuses, you can utilize Hellfire Torch to activate two 5-piece set bonuses: Cathan's Dauntless Faith and Heaven's Radiant Fire.
This setup allows you to apply Judgment effect to enemies via your skills, further boosting your damage. It also synergizes well with Argent Veil ring, which automatically triggers a non-channeled core skill every time you move 2 meters.
More fun possibilities
You could also incorporate Aspect of the Arbiter's Zephyr. While not strictly necessary for Season 16 Zeal Paladin Build, it opens up some interesting gameplay options.
This aspect reduces the cooldown of Arbiter's evade. When combined with Undying Aspect, you don't need to specifically stack evade cooldown reduction, nor do you need to rely on landing attacks to lower the cooldown.
You can stack these effects to increase your evade frequency, though it is generally better to weave evades into the rhythm of combat rather than spamming the button mindlessly.
Spamming it too frequently, especially when your attack speed is high, can easily deplete all your available evade charges. Compared to a standard Zeal Paladin Build, this variation presents more challenges, so proceed according to your own comfort level.
Since further changes may occur in Diablo 4 following the conclusion of PTR, it is too early to say whether Zeal Paladin Build will emerge as a top-tier choice in Season 16. That said, the version featured in 3.3.0 PTR is definitely worth a try!

How to Spawn Infernal Butcher and Farm Treasure Goblins in Diablo 4 Meat or Treat 2026
The Halloween spirit of Sanctuary is reignited. After a two-year hiatus, Diablo 4's Halloween event, Meat or Treat, launches with Patch 3.2.4 and will run until November 4th.
Unlike previous years, this year's event is not just an isolated festive touch, but a substantial integration of the Butcher theme with the classic March of the Goblins reputation mechanic.
Players must risk encountering Infernal Butcher at the shrines of Nightmare Dungeon while simultaneously chasing a surge in Treasure Goblins across the open world to fill the reputation board at Kyovashad.
Event Mechanics: Two Gameplay Paths and One Resource Objective
Diablo 4 Meat or Treat 2026 Brings Infernal Butcher Hunts, Goblin Rewards, and New Farming Opportunities The core gameplay of Meat or Treat 2026 revolves around treasure goblin hunting and shrine random events.
Treasure Goblin Hunting
During the event, the spawn rate of treasure goblins across Sanctuary is increased. Killing them accumulates March of the Goblins reputation, advancing the event reward panel located to the left of Kyovashad waypoint, next to the goblin statue.
As reputation levels increase, players can gradually claim rewards such as Diablo 4 gold, crafting materials, Murmuring Obols, Gem Fragments, and Runes.
Shrine Random Events
Diablo 4 Greed Shrine Activating a shrine in a dungeon, in addition to its regular buffs, may trigger an additional trick or treat event - the result could be a swarm of treasure goblins or a burning Infernal Butcher emerging from the ground.
There's another noteworthy connection between the two paths: the spawning mechanism of Greed Shrine and Treasure Goblins. Activating Greed Shrine and killing monsters during its effect can further spawn Treasure Goblins.
Infernal Butcher: A High-Risk Encounter in Dungeons
The Infernal Butcher is a burning variant of The Butcher, displaying the message: "The Infernal Butcher has invaded your realm…" upon invasion.
Its loot pool is the same as the regular The Butcher, including Legendary, Unique, and a small amount of Mythic Unique, and yields boss summoning materials and runes.
The key to triggering the Infernal Butcher lies in Greed Shrine. Testing shows that Greed Shrine has a significantly higher probability of triggering the Infernal Butcher than other types of shrines. This means that when selecting Nightmare Sigils, prioritizing Sigils with Greed Shrine affix is the most efficient Butcher farming strategy.
Furthermore, the combination of Altar of Avarice and Goblin Fall node in War Plan, along with Nemesis Bracers, can generate additional elite groups and goblin altars each time a shrine is activated, further amplifying the rewards of a single dungeon run.
March of the Goblins: Guaranteed Rewards on the Reputation Board
In contrast to the randomness of Infernal Butcher, March of the Goblins reputation board offers a predictable, guaranteed return. The panel has 10 levels, each corresponding to a goblin cache or functional reward:
Rank Basic Reward Additional Reward 1 Magic Goblin Gift None 2 Magic Goblin Gift Baron's Gift: Large Amount of Gold 3 Magic Goblin Gift None 4 Rare Goblin Gift Ector's Gift: Crafting Materials 5 Rare Goblin Gift None 6 Rare Goblin Gift Murl's Gift: Murmuring Obols 7 Legendary Goblin Gift None 8 Legendary Goblin Gift Prym's Gift: Gem Fragments, Runes 9 Legendary Goblin Gift None 10 Legendary Goblin Gift Fedric's Gift: Resplendent Spark, Runes Additionally, each exclusive gift claimed (Baron's, Ector's, Murl's, Prym's, Fedric's) slightly increases the drop rate of Treasure Bags from treasure goblins during the event.
Efficient Farming Routes
Goblin Route: Prioritize Nahantu
Diablo 4 Treasure Goblins If your goal is to quickly accumulate March of the Goblins reputation and unlock exclusive rewards, prioritize Nahantu. It's recommended to clear the camps and coastline around Teganze Plateau in a circular pattern to improve the efficiency of finding treasure goblins.
Additionally, you can use Subo's passive ability to expand the minimap's marker range for treasure goblins. When exploring on horseback, you can also repeatedly toggle the map on and off to refresh the marker, making distant goblins appear earlier.
If you prioritize solo farming efficiency, you can also try disabling Diablo 4's cross-network play to reduce competition for goblins from other players. Furthermore, when encountering Greed Shrine, it's worth actively activating its effect to utilize the additional goblin spawning mechanic.
Butcher Route: Prioritize Nightmare Dungeon
If your goal is to trigger Infernal Butcher, prioritize Nightmare Sigil with the Greed Shrine affix. Once inside the dungeon, find and activate Greed Shrine as soon as possible to attempt to trigger a special event.
If you're willing to accept greater uncertainty for explosive progress, you can also try Infernal Hordes.
Activating Total Chaos node in War Plan increases the chance of a Chaos Wave appearing; if you're lucky enough to encounter a Goblin Chaos Wave, a single run of Infernal Hordes can significantly boost your March of the Goblins reputation, potentially even pushing you to Rank 10.
This path is unreliable, but the rewards are extremely high when successful, making it suitable for players willing to invest time in explosive progress.
Other Content in Patch 3.2.4
Patch 3.2.4, released alongside the event, is extremely concise, but one change is particularly significant for the long-term farming experience of D4 Season 15: the stack limit for Prime Evil Splinters has been increased from 1 to 99.
Previously, duplicate Splinters of the same type would be wasted due to their inability to stack, forcing players to frequently manage their inventory while farming Hellfire Torch.
The increased stacking limit eliminates this friction point and allows for a smoother way to store the large amounts of materials dropped by goblins and Butcher during the event.
In short, Diablo 4's Meat or Treat event provides players with additional opportunities to acquire gold, crafting materials, runes, and rare equipment. Whether choosing to chase Treasure Goblin or challenge the Infernal Butcher, players can take advantage of the event to further accumulate resources and prepare for future character progression.

Diablo 4 Season 16 PTR Warlock Nerfs Explained and 3 Builds Getting Stronger
Following the release of Diablo 4 Season 16 PTR patch notes, the initial reaction from Warlock player community was panic, as Blazing Scream's damage was reduced to around 13% of its previous level. However, a closer look reveals a far more complex picture than these numbers suggest.
Warlock hasn't been nerfed; it's been readjusted. Extreme builds that previously made endgame content unchallenging are being weakened, while many previously clumsy, underperforming, or even game-breaking builds have been given the tools they need to shine. In many ways, this is the most interesting Warlock build in recent seasons.
This article will reveal the new Warlock gameplay in Diablo 4 Season 16 PTR and provide a detailed breakdown of the changes.
Diablo 4 Season 16 PTR Warlock Changes Bring Major Nerfs and Buffs Blazing Scream Nerf Explained
Yes, on the surface, Blazing Scream has indeed been significantly nerfed. The removal of the seal bug - which effectively granted a free extra unique charm and doubled damage - coupled with the removal of Black Soul Stone's absurd scaling means the build's original power is significantly reduced. This sounds catastrophic.
However, every situation has its limits. In Season 15, Blazing Scream build could speedrun Pit 150 in one minute - a speed clearly exceeding any reasonable expectation for any build and defying the developers' intended power curve.
Now, even with the significant power reduction, a rough estimate suggests that a well-geared Blazing Scream build can still clear Pit 137 in about eight minutes (assuming no further gear adjustments and disregarding the power boosts from the new season's mechanics), which is still a respectable achievement.
More importantly, the playstyle of this build is likely changing. The version that relied on rapid-fire skills is being replaced by Orbital variant. The unique item Elegy has also been adjusted; its Skullcrushing effect only deals full damage in channeled mode.
This means that even with a lower cap, the current version of Blazing Scream may become less reliant on skill combos, require less Shadowform stack management, and be more suitable for average players.
Apocalypse and Metamorphosis Get Reined In
Annihilation variant of Apocalypse has undergone a series of significant changes. The stack cap has doubled, but the damage per stack has been halved, and the overall cycle time has doubled. Ultimately, this build's output is only about a quarter of what it used to be. However, although the double damage bonus has been removed, the build's damage is still in the tens of quadrillions.
Similarly, Metamorphosis's life-based damage bonus has also been significantly reduced, and this bonus is now limited to Greater Demon Skills. This limits its versatility - previously, the effect could be applied to almost any skill for additional damage.
Since all Arch-Fiend skills are Greater Demon Skills, the core characteristics of the skill have been retained. This change simply prevents Polymorph from becoming a universal damage multiplier for all builds, thus freeing up design space for other ultimate abilities in terms of functionality or scaling.
Diablo 4 Season 16 PTR Warlock Changes Real Winners
While some top-tier builds have seen a decline in status, others have received significant buffs and are equally noteworthy, such as Abyssal Titan Rampage, Command Laalish, and Hell Fracture. These will be good choices in Season 16, so you can prepare in advance.
However, I recommend testing these enhanced Warlock builds before you buy Diablo 4 items to see which playstyle best suits your preferred skills and ultimate goals.
Abyssal Titan Rampage
In D4 3.3.0 PTR, Abyssal Titan Rampage finally received the long-awaited fix. Previously, the need to constantly recast abilities to trigger critical strikes made the game difficult to play, consuming Shadowform stacks and forcing players to frequently perform stealth management.
Now, Titan's base attack damage is the same as critical strike damage. This means that Heavy Strike has become purely a movement skill, while base attack damage has become the primary source of damage.
Players can essentially set it up and leave it to its own devices, transforming this build from a chaotic and cumbersome one into a smooth, viable pet-centric playstyle. This is exactly the build the community wanted from the beginning, and it's finally here.
Command Laalish
Command Laalish is gradually becoming a truly viable core build, no longer just a meme. Changes to Soul Shards allow players to use Nether Step to teleport Laalish, solving one of her biggest usability issues - her inability to keep up with moving players.
Rictus of Terror helmet now grants a free Unfathomable Fragment, freeing up shard slots for other buffs. Furthermore, Subjugation Shards - which provide additional damage per point of Dominance - now also apply to Laalish, whereas previously they had no effect.
Combined with a significant increase in base damage, this demon is evolving from a barely usable gimmick character into a fully functional companion with genuine build potential.
Hell Fracture
Hell Fracture also received a quiet but significant buff in Season 16 PTR. Lava Fissures variant's mechanics have been fixed; rifts can now truly hit the primary target - previously, while rifts would spawn, they couldn't damage the main enemy, rendering the variant practically useless.
The fixed damage numbers show an increase of approximately 71%, equivalent to a two-pit tier boost. This is undoubtedly a dark horse for players who enjoy Hell Fracture build and has the potential to become a top-tier build in S16.
Itemization and Jewelry Set Bonus Question
The new Season 16 PTR mechanic that allows Horadric jewelry to contribute to Talisman set bonuses opens up some interesting itemization possibilities. By equipping rings and an amulet with the appropriate Horadric affixes, players can increase their set counts beyond the six available Charm slots, potentially enabling multiple set bonuses simultaneously.
However, Warlock builds may face some difficult trade-offs. Certain builds rely heavily on specific Unique items, such as Rictus of Terror or Hemat Stone, for their skill-specific damage bonuses and synergies.
Replacing these items with Horadric jewelry could mean sacrificing valuable effects, so the actual benefit will depend on the build and the set bonuses gained. Whether this approach delivers a meaningful damage, increase remains to be tested.
Warlock in Diablo 4 Season 16 PTR is not being destroyed, but being normalized. Those builds that exploited loopholes or relied on overly powerful seasonal stat adjustments are returning to rationality, while those hampered by clunky mechanics or flawed variants have been fixed.
Therefore, for players who enjoy diverse gameplay and theoretical exploration, this is undoubtedly a more ideal state for Warlocks. So, head over to 3.3.0 PTR and experience it for yourself!

Diablo 4 Season 16 3.3.0 PTR Is Live: How War Plans Change & Dual Reaper Bosses Change the Game
With only a few hours left until Diablo 4 3.3.0 PTR goes live, it's worth noting that Season 16 brings more than just balance changes that might shift class tiers, there's plenty of new content to look forward to.
3.3.0 PTR is expected to remain open until November 3rd. If you want to dive straight into Season 16 experience on PTR, you'll want to get up to speed on the details. Here's what you need to know.
Diablo 4 Season 16 3.3.0 PTR Is Live: How War Plans Change & Dual Reaper Bosses Change the Game Updates to War Plans System
A major focus of the mechanical refinements in Season 16 is War Plans system, which has been updated in two key ways: increased customization freedom and the addition of a new upgrade tree.
War Plans Tactics
War Plans Tactics is a new progression system introduced for War Plans. Unlike the upgrade tree, which focuses on enhancing buffs for specific endgame events, War Plans Tactics allows you to personally decide which events or loot types appear more frequently.
More specifically, War Plans Tactics features a variety of unlockable nodes. Activating these nodes requires consuming specific points, which are earned by completing items on your War Plans list.
You can invest up to three points into any single War Plans Tactics node. You can distribute your points evenly or focus them on specific types of endgame events or loot. Of particular note are the nodes related to Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons.
Investing points into these categories not only increases their appearance rate within your War Plans list, but also unlocks options to boost the spawn probability of Greater Helltides or Escalation Dungeons.
New special currency: Marks of Wisdom
During Season 16, completing items on your War Plans list will grant you the usual rewards, such as gold, gear, and various crafting materials, along with the aforementioned points for War Plans Tactics. Additionally, you will earn a new special currency: Marks of Wisdom.
This currency is used to modify nodes that have already been unlocked within War Plans Tactics and War Plans upgrade trees. After all, the endgame activities and types of resources you'll want to focus on will shift as you progress through different stages of Diablo 4 Season 16.
Previously, resetting an upgrade tree, or specific nodes within it, required 50 million gold, a steep cost even for hardcore players. The introduction of Marks of Wisdom has eased this burden.
To get the most out of War Plans and the new Tactics system, it is highly recommended that you farm this currency consistently throughout Season 16. The core strategy for doing so is, naturally, to complete as many endgame activities as possible.
If you find yourself hitting a wall due to a lack of power during combat, remember that you can always buy D4 items online to bolster your character's gear setup.
The new Tyrael's Boons War Plans Tree
Tyrael's Boons tree functions similarly to the reward-focused components of War Plans Tactics system. The key distinction is that Tyrael's Boons provide bonuses that apply to a broad range of Diablo 4 content, whereas Tactics system focuses specifically on rewards tied to War Plans activities.
Tyrael's Boons consists of four distinct paths, each emphasizing different types of rewards; you can invest a maximum of 132 points across them.
Note, however, that resetting nodes in Tyrael's Boons tree still requires gold, Marks of Wisdom cannot be used for this purpose.
- Curious Addition: Increases the odds of obtaining new or high-quality items when gambling at Purveyor of Curiosities.
- Merchant of Mystery: Allows you to exchange Forgotten Souls for caches at Merchant of Mystery; unlocking nodes here increases the spawn rate of Ancestral Caches.
- Scent of Gold: Boosts the amount of gold and XP you earn, while also increasing the drop rate of Legendary gear.
- Trash for Treasure: Reduces the costs associated with Transmuting and increases your chances of obtaining Forgotten Souls.
It is worth noting that the latter two paths contain additional sub-branches, offering even greater flexibility for customization.
Furthermore, by unlocking specific nodes within Trash for Treasure path, you gain a chance to acquire a new Horadric Cube recipe: Greater Temper.
If you possess the recipe, you can follow its instructions, providing 30 Scrolls of Restoration and 1,000 Obducite, to upgrade a Tempered Affix on your gear to a GA! This offers a significant boost to your power!
Diablo 4 Season 16 Tyrael's Boons Horadric Items
A brand-new item category in Diablo 4, Horadric Items refers to jewelry, armor, and weapons that feature a special Horadric affix.
Equipping Horadric jewelry increases the count for specific Talisman set bonuses by 1. In other words, during Season 16, you can activate higher-tier set bonuses while using fewer charms.
Furthermore, if you have at least a 2-piece set bonus active, equipping Horadric armor or weapons will unlock additional, all-new bonuses.
Diablo 4 Season 16 Horadric Items Dual bosses: Fractured Reaper & Corrupted Reaper
Beyond the mechanical changes available to players, Diablo 4 Season 16 introduces a new dual-boss encounter.
Corrupted Reaper, first introduced in Season 14 and likely a source of significant trouble for many players throughout Seasons 14 and 15, returns in Season 16, now joined by a new ally: Fractured Reaper. Together, they appear as a lair boss encounter.
Diablo 4 Season 16 Dual Bosses If you'd like to experience this content firsthand and share your feedback or suggestions for further refinement, be sure to install and log into 3.3.0 PTR when it goes live on October 27 at 10:00 AM PDT! Enjoy your time in the game!
