Diablo 4 Season 15 will once again introduce several new Unique items, but this time, most of these new items are actually returning from Diablo III, although their specific effects may have been changed.
You can upgrade these Legacy Uniques to Mythic quality, granting their core effects an additional 30% bonus. However, not every item is truly worth investing resources into. Let's take a look at which ones are actually worth your investment.
Tier C
Henry's Perquisition
- Suitable Classes: Sorcerer, Necromancer, and Warlock
Henry's Perquisition has a Unique effect that grants you an amount of your primary stat equal to 115% of your Dexterity. Its effect is completely different from its Diablo III counterpart, with only the hit-related concept being carried over.
The major drawback is that it is a Unique Focus, while the classes that actually benefit most from Dexterity are Rogue and Spiritborn, and neither of them can equip it.
Although you can stack All Stats affix on your gear to maximize this effect, the overall benefit is still rather limited. It is generally more effective to stack affixes such as Critical Strike Damage or your primary stat instead.
Nemesis Bracers
- Suitable Classes: All Classes
When you activate a Shrine, this item summons a group of Elite monsters, theoretically increasing the amount of loot and materials you can obtain. Although it provides a large amount of Movement Speed, its main problem is that it offers no damage bonus.
This item may be useful while leveling, but in endgame content such as The Pit, where every bit of damage matters, equipping it essentially means giving up a damage multiplier.
Unless you can already instantly kill everything in the highest Tormented 12 difficulty and simply want to increase the number of Elite monsters you encounter, this item has very little practical value.
Tier B
The Furnace
- Suitable Classes: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, and Warlock
This is a two-handed mace whose effect grants up to 200%[x] additional damage against Elite monsters, which is higher than its damage bonus in Diablo III.
Because it is a two-handed weapon, using it means giving up an additional weapon or off-hand slot. However, it can also be converted into a Charm, allowing you to gain this massive damage multiplier without sacrificing an equipment slot.
Its greatest strength lies in The Pit or The Tower, where you sometimes need smaller monsters to remain alive so that you can use them to transfer damage. For players pushing high-tier content with specific requirements, this is one of the strongest options available.
Arioc's Needle
- Suitable Classes: Barbarian, Druid, and Spiritborn
Arioc's Needle does not share the same effect as the similarly named item in Diablo III. Its effect instead provides a chance to trigger Deadly Strike. You can think of Deadly Strike as a “critical strike of a critical strike,” providing a separate damage amplification mechanic that functions independently of normal Critical Strikes. It also provides Poison damage, helping certain builds that require multiple elemental damage types to trigger specific effects.
In Diablo 4 Season 15, it will be a core component of one of Spiritborn's strongest builds, Counter Swarm. For builds that rely heavily on Damage over Time effects, it is also one of the best choices.
El'Druin, Sword of Justice
- Suitable Classes: All Classes
This item is not technically a new item, but it has been reworked in Diablo 4 Season 15. Instead of its previous Cooldown Reduction effect, it now has a completely new effect called Smite.
It is essentially an Execute effect, but unlike a normal Execute, it works against all enemies, including bosses.
Mythic version activates its Execute effect when an enemy falls below 35% Health. Its main use is in group play, where a support character can equip it and directly Execute low-health enemies even without dealing damage, contributing to the entire team.
Tier A
Messerschmidt's Reaver
- Suitable Classes: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, and Warlock
The original effect of El'Druin, Sword of Justice has been added to this weapon, although it may receive further adjustments after Season 15 launches.
Its core effect is that every time you defeat a group of Elite monsters, your Cooldowns are reduced by a fixed number of seconds. This is mainly useful for Speed Builds that rely on Cooldown Reduction to reach specific breakpoints.
This effect uses a fixed value rather than a percentage. This means that if one of your key skills has a base Cooldown of 10 seconds, a single activation could potentially reset it immediately.
It can completely solve a build's Cooldown issues, allowing you to achieve 100% uptime on key skills without stacking any Cooldown Reduction affixes on your gear.
Stone Of Jordan
- Suitable Classes: All Classes
Stone Of Jordan causes all of your Elemental Resistances to become equal to your highest Resistance value.
This means you only need to heavily stack one type of Resistance to gain a massive increase to all Resistances. At the same time, it also provides a small damage bonus based on your highest Elemental Damage type.
Although its damage bonus is weaker than what a strong Aspect can provide, it also grants +2 Ranks to All Skills. Overall, if you are facing significant survivability issues, it can completely change your situation.
Squirt's Blouse
- Suitable Classes: All Classes
Squirt's Blouse essentially turns Diablo III's Squirt's Necklace into a chest armor piece in D4. It can provide up to 65%[x] increased independent damage in its Mythic version. The drawback is that you will take more damage.
You can use a Barrier to deal with its negative effect. Although this sacrifices a defensive Aspect slot on your chest armor, the damage increase is far greater than what most other Diablo 4 items can provide. In the late game, once you have established a strong enough defensive foundation, it becomes one of the best pieces for maximizing damage.
Tier S
Leoric's Crown
- Suitable Classes: All Classes
Leoric's Crown can be considered an Jewelry item. This means you can socket Abyssal Splinters into it, with their effects being doubled.
Abyssal Splinters introduced in Diablo 4 Season 15 are extremely powerful, providing effects such as Attack Speed, Critical Strike, or even doubling your damage at the cost of Critical Strike.
They are powerful enough to justify giving up any class-specific Helm, and even converting the item into a Charm is completely worthwhile. For anyone aiming to push the leaderboards in The Pit, this item is an absolute must-have.

Diablo 4 Season 15 New Clue Emerges: Hand Crossbow Teases Demon Hunter Return as Players Call for an Eternal Fresh Start
Diablo 4 Season 14 has been underway for nearly two months, and theSeason 15 PTR testing has concluded. With BlizzCon 2026 approaching, players are speculating about what new content Season 15 will bring.
The official announcement previously stated that some Season 15 content would be deliberately kept outside the PTR, as it would be revealed at BlizzCon. This unusual statement, coupled with two recent hot topics in the community, has stirred up excitement among players: firstly, Hand Crossbow has quietly appeared in the loot filter, rekindling speculation about Demon Hunter's return; secondly, some players are earnestly calling for the addition of a fresh start mode in Eternal Realm.
Two seemingly unrelated topics, when considered together, both point to an increasingly relevant issue in Diablo 4: as players accumulate more experience and depth, what kind of fresh start do they need to rekindle their motivation to adventure from Level 1?
Hand Crossbow Appears in Loot Filter
Players have discovered Hand Crossbow weapon category in Diablo 4's loot filter. Oddly, no currently playable class can equip it.
While Rogues can use bows and crossbows, those small, one-handed crossbows are entirely different from the Hand Crossbow. Hand Crossbow is practically an iconic weapon deeply intertwined with Demon Hunter in Diablo 3.
Of course, it's too early to consider this definitive. However, the appearance of Hand Crossbow does provide substantial evidence for this speculation. Coupled with the confirmed announcement of more Season 15 content at BlizzCon, this anomaly makes it hard not to speculate.
Is Legacy Uniques foreshadowing Demon Hunter?
Hand Crossbow isn't the only clue. he Legacy Uniques introduced in PTR 3.2.0 further reinforce this association. Season 15 will bring back nine classic pieces of equipment from previous Diablo titles, many from Diablo III.
On its own, this is simply a nostalgic look at the series. But placed alongside the Hand Crossbow, it inevitably leads to speculation: is the developers paving the way for the return of a classic class?
From a commercial perspective, Demon Hunter is undoubtedly a highly attractive option. The hood, dual-wielding Hand Crossbows, mobility, traps, and signature ranged firepower all contribute to its high recognizability. If it were to appear at BlizzCon, it would certainly be enough to instantly capture players' attention.
Rogue: Demon Hunter's Biggest Obstacle
However, the biggest obstacle is right in front of us: Diablo 4 already has Rogue. The studio stated during the design of Rogue that it catered to the preferences of both Demon Hunter and Assassin players. Rogue's skill system covers bows, crossbows, rapid ranged attacks, traps, shadow skills, and high mobility - almost a carbon copy of Demon Hunter.
If Demon Hunter is indeed added, the studio must come up with something truly unique, otherwise it could easily become just Rogue with a different skin.
Hand Crossbows could be the breakthrough. Dual-wielding ranged weapons is a gameplay style currently absent in Diablo 4, and Demon Hunter could build a completely different combat system around Dual Hand Crossbows, Sentry, Hatred resources, and turret gameplay. Especially the sustained firepower gameplay centered around Sentry, which Rogue hasn't fully occupied yet.
Of course, Hand Crossbows could also be nothing more than unused development data, a future Rogue weapon type, a unique item, or abandoned test content.
Eternal Realm Needs a Fresh Start
Beyond Demon Hunter speculation, another player demand is equally noteworthy: the desire for Eternal Realm to offer a truly meaningful Fresh Start.
This isn't simply about voluntarily abandoning old resources after creating a new character; it's about completely severing inheritance at the system level: no old stashes, materials, shared paragons, or other account-level resources, and no seasonal restrictions, allowing for permanently independent progress.
Some argue that players can simply refrain from using previously accumulated resources. However, self-restraint is different from system rules. Just as a softcore player's promise to delete their character upon death doesn't guarantee the same experience as a hardcore player, a true fresh start must be guaranteed by the game's rules.
Currently, more and more in-game progress is shared, which does improve convenience. However, even starting from Level 1, an external character remains within an account environment accumulated over many years - the large number of Diablo 4 items players have previously accumulated can still be used through shared stashes and other systems, making a true start-from-zero experience difficult.
Seasonal changes can indeed solve this problem because each season resets progress and the economy. But the issue is that the desired fresh start only occurs according to the season's schedule.
Therefore, a fresh start in the external realm isn't meant to replace seasons, but rather to fill the void they leave: allowing players to restart at any time and permanently retain their progress from scratch.
SSF Shows Technically Feasible
Fortunately, Diablo 4 already has a similar technological precedent. Season 14's Solo Self-Found (SSF) gave characters independent stash, currency, and Paragon progress, separate from seasonal characters. While SSF is still seasonal, it at least proved that progress isolation between different characters is possible.
Therefore, adding a fresh start option to the external realm isn't entirely impractical. It doesn't even require new maps or content; simply isolating characters from existing account resources is sufficient.
Neither Hand Crossbow nor fresh start has been officially confirmed yet. But they at least reflect a clear change: players are actually looking for a reason to re-experience Diablo 4.
A new class can bring new builds and gameplay; a fresh start can give meaning to equipment, resources, and the progression process. It remains to be seen which method the official team will choose, or even whether it will be announced at BlizzCon, but the answer will be revealed soon.
