Diablo 4 Season14 One Golem Necromancer Build | Pit 115 Clear without any Mythics!

Jul 04, 2026 Author: D4gold

Among the many playstyles in Diablo 4, Necromancer summoner build has always held a place. Today, we're showcasing a build that pushes summoning to its limits - a single golem can deal hundreds of billions, even trillions, of damage with basic attacks. Even more impressively, this build successfully cleared Pit 115 in Season 14 without a single piece of Mythic gear.

Core Gameplay Strategy

Diablo 4 Season14 One Golem Necromancer Build | Pit 115 Clear without any Mythics!

First, many might ask why not use triple golems?

The first reason is cooldown. While each triple golem deals considerable damage, their active skill cooldowns don't reset quickly, preventing frequent use of burst skills.

The second reason is the synergy with Bone Storm. When you activate Bone Storm, it simultaneously surrounds you and all your golems. If you only have one golem on the field, that's two Bone Storms; but if you have a triple golem, there will be four Bone Storms on the field simultaneously.

The maximum number of Bone Storms in Diablo 4 is four, so once your Bone Storm's duration ends, it disappears. Therefore, the advantage of a single golem is that you can achieve infinite Bone Storms, allowing it to persist anywhere on the map.

Why are infinite Bone Storms so important? Because they continuously provide a 120% critical hit damage bonus, an independent multiplicative bonus with terrifying benefits. Furthermore, a single golem helps you maintain an Unstoppable state.

The practical combo is very simple: first, activate Bone Storm to ensure survival, then use Blight to gather enemies together, and finally press the golem's active burst skill - you'll see the golem leap into the enemy group, instantly dealing 2 trillion or 3 trillion damage. When traveling, use Sever to increase movement speed; the golem will automatically fly in from behind and detonate everything again. The only thing you need to be mindful of is maintaining the 6-stack damage buff from Crown of Lucian - this requires regular use of your core abilities to sustain.

Skill Setup

Golem

Golem is the absolute core of this build. We chose Iron Golem, which adds a shockwave with each attack, providing considerable AoE damage.

Aspect of Fel Gluttonyis is one of the offensive aspects for the Necromancer in Diablo 4. It causes Golem's active ability to explode, dealing damage to surrounding enemies. Golem also consumes Corpse to reduce the cooldown of its active ability. This means that as long as you continuously generate Corpse, you can frequently use Golem to create explosions.

Support Skills

  • Skeleton Mages and Skeleton Warriors: Although we sacrificed them in Book of the Dead for passive bonuses, we will still retain a small number of Mages and Warriors as support. Mages provide Critical Strike Chance and Ferocity stacks, while Warriors provide healing and Resolve.
  • Sever: Primarily increases movement speed, while also reducing mana cost and generating an additional Corpse effect.
  • Blight: Gathers monsters and has a higher chance of a Lucky Hit.
  • Curses: Carries both Iron Maiden and Decrepify. Decrepify provides cooldown reduction and Resolve, and also generates Blood Orb for healing; Iron Maiden executes enemies and provides Fortify, while also inflicting the Vulnerable status. Note that these two curses do not need to be placed in the Diablo 4 skill bar - they are automatically cast via Blood Moon Breaches.
  • Bone Storm: Provides a barrier, and its duration is extended by consuming corpses.

Charm Set

This build's damage output heavily relies on Peace of the Black Shroud Set, which converts 75% of the damage from our Darkness Skills into additional Corrupting or Frostbite damage over time (DOT) for 30 seconds. This means that if a golem deals 5 trillion damage in a single hit, 75% (3.75 trillion) will become DOT, stacking on the boss. This is why this build can deal hundreds of billions of DOT per second when fighting bosses.

Core Gear

Helm: Crown of Lucion

Its effect is to grant a 10-15% damage increase each time a resource-consuming skill is used, stacking up to 5 times, but also increasing resource consumption by 30%.

Weapon: Mace of King Leoric

You can obtain the Mace of King Leoric by summoning and defeating The Butcher. Its effect is that every 8 seconds, the golem consumes a Skeleton Mages or Skeleton Warriors, restoring full health and gaining a 70-80% damage increase for 10 seconds.

Pants: Blood Moon Breeches

Dropped from Asteroth in the escalating nightmare dungeon of Diablo 4, these provide 60% increased fire damage and auto-cast curses, along with a critical strike damage affix.

Rings: Attack Speed First

Both rings are recommended to stack attack speed, aiming to maximize the attack speed of the golem. Since the summoner class usually selects the Cult Leader node, and because it provides a 40% damage increase for every 20% attack speed, 100% attack speed is equivalent to 200% increased damage. However, this may require some time and Diablo 4 gold to roll the desired attack speed affix.

Advanced Improvement Directions

While this build can already clear Pit 115, there is still considerable room for improvement:

  • Mythic Gear: Although the previously accepted gear only includes one Unique piece, Mythic gear such as the Crown of Lucion and Mace of King Leoric can provide an additional 100% damage bonus, theoretically pushing the potential to Pit 120 or 130.
  • Affix Optimization: To better prepare for Endgame, the Intelligence affix on the gloves can be replaced with Vulnerable Damage; the All Damage affix on the rings can also be replaced with Vulnerable Damage; and Greater Affix should be upgraded to the max-roll version.
  • Rune Level: Runes can be upgraded to level 100 or higher to further amplify damage.

This one golem Necromancer build doesn't require complex controls or a full set of Mythic gear. With just one Charm Set and a unique weapon, it can deal astonishing damage. If you're tired of the passive, stand-and-watch playstyle of traditional Diablo 4 summoners, it's definitely worth a try in the new season.
