Diablo 4 Season 14 Leveling Guide: Hit Level 70 in Just 4 Hours | No Campaign Required

Jun 22, 2026 Author: D4gold

Guys, before you know it, Diablo 4 Season 14 is just over a week away from its release! This transition period between the old and new seasons in Diablo 4 is a peak time for player activity, attracting many new players to begin their Diablo 4 journey.

Whether you're a newcomer to Diablo 4 family or a long-time fan, this guide to Season 14's launch is essential information you shouldn't miss!

Season 14 Launch Time

While we are playing Diablo 4, the system is already notifying us of the countdown to Season 14. Currently, the in-game interface clearly indicates 8 days remaining, meaning it will launch on June 30th.

While this date may be slightly adjusted based on the official final schedule, given Diablo 4 development team's past practices, the error is usually quite small, so players can use this as a reliable reference.

It's worth noting that the transition time between old and new seasons in Diablo 4 is very short. After Season 13 ends, the start of Season 14 is delayed by only about an hour, and all processes are completed within the same day. This means players can quickly enter the new season without a long wait.

Leveling Strategies

The biggest change in Season 14 is that it will be the first time players can start leveling their characters directly without repeating the campaign storyline. This opens up new possibilities for leveling strategies.

First, players can engage in targeted leveling when Season 14 begins, such as pure zone leveling by solely farming Helltide, or pushing through Kurast Undercity, the latter likely to become the most popular and efficient leveling route in the new season.

This way of farming is much more efficient than making progress in each area only a little bit, and your character leveling up will be much smoother.

In addition, practical testing has shown that leveling a character from level 1 to 70 in Season 14 only takes about four hours.

The testing conditions were quite stringent. The character fought solely using Diablo 4 items dropped from the ground, without using enchantments, tempers, or any attribute adjustments. Even the aspect bonuses were just randomly picked up pieces that didn't perfectly match the playstyle.

Even under these constraints, a character can still reach level 70 in just 4 hours, demonstrating that with a well-designed skill set and leveling path, quickly reaching the level cap is not impossible.

Build Gameplay Test

No one can say for sure which class will be the answer in Season 14. While Barbarian, a class widely discussed in the community, seems promising, all speculation lacks support from the final patch notes.

The crucial turning point will appear in the official Diablo 4 update notes. Only after receiving this concrete data can players accurately assess the changes in class strength, determining which builds have received substantial buffs, which require more attention, and which might fall into the bottom tier due to mechanic adjustments.

The official release of this update is scheduled for 11:00 AM Pacific Time on June 23rd via livestream. Players are encouraged to follow the official channels closely.

However, in the previous PTR, players had already worked together to complete a comprehensive evaluation of several different Barbarian builds.

The most encouraging finding from the testing is that many unconventional builds have received significant enhancements because of the changes to Unique items.

While these may not be the optimal solutions for pushing higher Pit levels, their overall strength has made a qualitative leap, with a noticeable rise in tier rankings. Players who enjoy diversity will have more options in Season 14.

Character Data and Experience Transfer Strategies

Veteran players should pay special attention: towards the end of Season 13, your account will have two types of characters: Season Characters and Eternal Realm Characters. Your Eternal Realm Character will not enjoy any season-specific mechanics, but will permanently retain all character data.

Additionally, there is a specific inheritance mechanism for resources in Diablo 4.

Players preparing for the new season must understand that any valuable progression progress cannot be carried over. This includes Diablo 4 gold, legendary gems, runes, gear, crafting materials, skill points earned in ranked play, and paragon points; all will remain in Eternal Realm.

For players already owning characters from the previous season in Eternal Realm, a crucial point to note is the temporary storage page, which only allows withdrawals and does not save items. However, they will not be retained until the new season; they will be permanently deleted.

Therefore, if you still have any pieces of equipment that you believe are worth keeping, please log in to Eternal Realm and clear this page before the end of Season 13.

Furthermore, the paragon level progression strategy deserves special emphasis. All experience points gained by characters transferring to Eternal Realm will be automatically added to Eternal Realm's paragon experience pool.

This is extremely advantageous for players aiming to reach Paragon level 300 in Eternal Realm, as Paragon level experience curve is extremely steep. Players only reach half the total experience requirement at level 283, and the experience gained at levels 200 or 225 actually represents a very small percentage of the total requirement.

Therefore, the most rational strategy is to continuously and efficiently grind experience on the seasonal server, then take advantage of the large experience transfer at the end of the season to propel Paragon level jump in Eternal Realm. This is far easier and faster than simply grinding in Eternal Realm.

So, these are the leveling and progression strategies we need to pay special attention to before Diablo 4 Season 14 arrives. Please complete your preparations in advance, as Season 14 will begin only one hour after Season 13 ends!
