Diablo 4 Season 13 & Lord of Hatred Patch 3.0.2 Fixes Key Amulet, Class, and Dungeon Issues

May 09, 2026 Author: D4gold

Diablo 4 Season 13 and Lord of Hatred update have completely transformed the game, bringing a host of exciting new mechanics, but they also arrived with a fair share of issues.

Now, Patch 3.0.0 is set to launch on May 13 to address those problems. This is a content-rich update packed with a large number of bug fixes, covering every class and the game's overall systems. While not everything has been flawlessly resolved, many painful ailments that have long plagued specific builds and the general gameplay experience have finally been treated. Let's take a look at the core highlights of this update.

Diablo 4 Season 13 & Lord of Hatred Patch 3.0.2 Fixes Key Amulet, Class, and Dungeon Issues

Major Fixes and Changes

This patch tackles a multitude of critical issues, with several particularly noteworthy ones:

Non-Mythic Charms and Seals Can Be Traded

After the fix, players will be able to trade non-Mythic Charms and Seals. This change makes the process of chasing perfect rolls much more straightforward. Previously, classes like Paladin and Spiritborn that rely on Resolve stacks faced certain defensive constraints, and this adjustment will now resolve that problem.

Aspect Power Values on Amulets

One of the most celebrated fixes in this patch targets the long-standing issue of severely underpowered Aspect values on Transfigured Amulets. Originally, when using Tuning Prisms to sanctify an amulet and attempting to obtain a second Legendary Aspect, the imprinted Aspect was always locked at a value far below the minimum range shown in Codex of Power - for example, a minimum of rank 22 would only ever roll rank 21 or even lower.

This caused a hidden suppression of damage output for virtually every class. The developers have now explicitly fixed this, so Aspects imprinted through Horadric Cube recipes will align with the normal ranges from Codex of Power. It's foreseeable that across all classes, damage will generally increase by about 10%–20%.

At the same time, a bug that prevented Tuning Prisms from removing certain affixes has also been added to the fix list. Before, if an item accidentally acquired one of these bricked affixes, there was no way to salvage it, leading to a tremendous amount of high-quality base materials being wasted. After the update, these affixes will be correctly categorized under General or Defensive, allowing the replacement function to work as intended. If you still have such bricked Diablo 4 items sitting in your stash, hold onto them - you'll be able to continue crafting with them after the patch.

Nightmare Dungeons

For players who selected the free dungeon node during their War Plans progression, running certain maps would sometimes unexpectedly kick them out, causing the entire promotion progress to be lost. The patch notes indicate that new Sigils will no longer randomly roll these problematic dungeons, which serves as a reasonably effective way to handle this bug.

There was previously an exploit that allowed infinite resource farming by resetting dungeons, resulting in some players fully equipping Legendary-quality Mythic pieces in every slot. This issue has now been dealt with.

The Pit Butcher Adjustments

The patch will fix an issue where Butcher would remain on the field during Pit challenges. At the same time, Butcher's health and a portion of its damage have been reduced; a bug was making Butcher excessively tanky.

Class Fixes

This update includes a massive number of class-specific repairs. Below are the main changes for each class.

Rogue

Rogue is unquestionably the focal point of this round of bug fixes, with many quite serious bugs getting resolved.

  • Poison Imbuement: It was causing infinite damage stacking and negative damage values, which was already addressed in an earlier hotfix.
  • Umbracrux: This similarly triggered negative damage and was temporarily disabled; the patch re-enables it with the correction in place.
  • The Pit: Rogues were able to build Pit completion progress by repeatedly killing their own pets; this behaviour has been closed off.

Currently, some Rogues on the leaderboard are achieving tier-150 clear times of around 20 seconds, suspected of exploiting an execution-related mechanic. The patch notes do not yet explicitly mention a fix for this loophole, so whether it can be fully rooted out remains to be seen.

Overall, Rogue's various unlimited-damage exploits are being eliminated one by one, but the leaderboard will likely need a reset to achieve true fairness.

Sorcerer

Without any obvious exploits, Sorcerer still demonstrates the ability to crush tier 150, with damage numbers reaching trillions or even tens of trillions, far exceeding most classes. Since this patch carries no nerfs for Sorcerer, its current strength remains completely unaffected.

Spiritborn

Spiritborn previously had several skills disabled because they could produce infinite damage; this patch will unlock those skills again. For Spiritborn players, this not only returns their full skill toolkit but may also yield even greater benefits when combined with the amulet fix. The only minor unresolved regret is the need for character animation speed optimization, which might arrive in a future patch.

Barbarian

This patch primarily focuses on skill fixes for Barbarian, especially fixing two serious bugs in Death Blow. This is an enhancement for builds that rely on this skill, while its overall strength remains largely unchanged.

Druid

Druid sees only minor changes, mainly consisting of rework-level adjustments to a few sets that had infinite-damage exploits, bringing them to an overall more stable state.

Necromancer

Many Necromancer skills have been fixed, along with numerous bug-related optimizations. This makes Necromancer feel much smoother to play, though it isn't enough to deliver a massive leap in power.

Warlock

Several issues that caused skills to fire unreliably have been fixed. After these repairs, Terror Swarm Warlock has the potential to emerge as a new playstyle.

Paladin

Paladin's changes are few. The most significant fix addresses the issue where Glynn's Anvil was not properly increasing damage reduction - an important repair for tanky builds that depend on Resolve stacks.

Unmentioned Issues

There are still a handful of hot-button topics that the patch makes no mention of, and they're worth keeping an eye on:

Extreme Gold-Farming Strategy

The extreme gold-farming strategy achieved through Seals - capable of yielding several hundred million or even billions of gold per dungeon run - was not referenced. This is clearly driving inflation.

Gem Farming

A method to efficiently obtain Royal and Grand gems still exists. This was expected to be fixed because of how overpowered it is, yet it currently remains unnerfed while other acquisition methods have not been buffed either.

Barbarian

Issues with Dominate Glyph and Aspect of Limitless Rage were not mentioned. Limitless Rage, in particular, appears to have been recently re-enabled and has become a mandatory choice for all Barbarian builds, pushing the entire class's power well beyond the norm.

Mythic Seals

There is an exploit where Legendary-quality Seals can interact with a full set and two Unique amulets alongside Seal of the Diamond Mind to perform some kind of swap, gaining unexpectedly high power. This was not mentioned. Likewise, the extremely low drop rate of Mythic Seals was not discussed - many players have slain bosses dozens of times without seeing a single one drop.

All in all, this patch is a fairly solid update that addresses a large number of beneficial bugs. Of course, some descriptions in the patch notes remain rather cryptic, and the actual effect of certain fixes, as well as any undocumented changes, may still need to be verified by you in the game itself.
