By acquiring Fractured Winterglass from Lord Zir, and using this amulet with a mana regenerating gear, Frozen Orb can be transformed into one of the most powerful core skills for a mage. The large number of conjurations also makes this build a brilliant choice for using the reworked Splintering Energy Aspect, which upgrades your Lightning Spears into powerful weapons capable of clearing all enemies on screen.

Core Skills

Frozen Orb and Lightning Spear are the two core skills in this build. As mentioned before, Frozen Orb triggers a specific affix of Fractured Winterglass by exploding an icy projectile in flight, reducing the cooldown of summons every time Frozen Orb explodes. This effect also applies to Aspect of Frozen Orbit, making the affix three times more effective.

Lightning Spear is the most powerful summon skill and needs to be used immediately after the cooldown is off. Multiple Lightning Spears with stun effects can be generated using Enhanced and Invoked upgrades. You can also increase the damage of Lightning Spear with Critical Damage and the reworked Splintering Energy Aspect, making it deal more damage on critical hits, making it easy to take down powerful bosses.

Teleport is very useful for moving around enormous areas. Ice Armor is your chief means of defense. Flame Shield is very useful in Pit and certain boss fights that require a one-hit mechanic.

Your last skill is recommended to be upgraded with Ice Blades summons at the beginning to help you reduce the cooldown of your skills. Important Passives

• Frigid Breeze - Useful mana maintenance node when leveling up. Not needed when equipped.

Paragon Board

Leveling the build uses a Paragon Board with seven Glyphs and eight boards, with the following glyphs recommended for the board:

Put Enchanter on the starting board and assign Intelligence, then expand the board to include Frigid Fate and Icefall. It is the major source of your Frozen Orb damage, and you can reassign the board with a Scroll of Amnesia after you reach level 100.

Conjurer extends the life of your conjurations by 20%, indirectly increasing the number of summons you can maintain. This strengthens Conjuration Mastery passive. Control provides a massive 20% damage bonus when the target is stunned. Since you can’t integrate eight Glyphs, you need to allocate the remaining points to maximum HP nodes, allowing you to easily embed five Topaz Gems on the equipment to increase damage output.

Leveling Build

Initially, you need to level up Sorcerer through World Tiers 1-3 and build up Firewall. Combining Firewall with Hydra can get high single-target DPS, which is particularly effective against Hellborne and powerful bosses in Helltide.

Fractured Winterglass may drop in the seasonal reward track. Or you can try to get it from Lord Zir. Of course, it is also a good choice to trade with other players using Diablo 4 Gold.
