A new patch has arrived for Diablo 4 Season 3, and I'm here to provide details. It's already live on the servers – the Patch 1.3.0a. The unique stones are easier to be acquired, and the Pearls of Ving are much more useful now. So, let's go through the patch notes.
Get ready with sufficient amount of Diablo 4 Gold, as it will prove extremely beneficial in the new Season 3.
Echo Of Malphas
Number one, they made Echo of Malphas harder. I guess that’s a good thing because it was amazing at Level 85. And they introduced a new item called Igneous Cores. So they are the material now that they need to summon Malphas. It’s no longer the Pearl of Warding that you also use to get the warding stacks for the chests. Instead, you have this new item now. It says it has a chance to drop from Vault Heralds.
I think these are like you summon at the Braia in the Outdoor World and also from the Son of Malphas. So, whenever you see him, he can also spawn outdoors or inside the Vaults. You get some of those cores, and then you can go and fight Malphas.
Also, they increased the chances for Unique Stones from 1 in 400 to 1 in 200 for the boss. But more importantly, they have a 3% chance to drop from the chest behind the boss. But either way, a 3% chance is actually not terrible, especially if there are 2 chances of this. So, make sure you go in with a few warding stacks, get through the entire Vault, and then you can do the boss, and you can open the chest and have a good chance of getting Unique Stones.
Also, there’s going to be a lot more loot, a lot more Legendary items. They also buffed the Son of Malphas, dropping more items and all that stuff. So it’s going to feel a bit more rewarding.
The Seneschal
The TDR is much easier to craft those stones now, so they always cost 200 stones and 20 Iron Chunks. Previously, when you are high level, this cost more. So, that has been normalized. Also, when you have one of those stones maxed out at level 10, then you get shattered stones. So, you can basically just craft a random one again. If that turns out to be another one that you have already maxed, then you get the stones back.
Then there are also the rewards from the Whispers. They give you the stones. The Son of Malphas drops stones, and you get more of those stones. So, the leveling has been much improved, and you also need less experience. When you log in, you’ll probably notice that your levels for your stones have already increased because they reduced the total XP required. So, the grind has become much more manageable.
Vault
Let't take a look of the Vaults and the Vault Tremors. First, you’re going to get 10 stacks of the warding buff now, making it much more forgiving to use a pearl and then going through the wall. You can do 2 stacks or something at the start. You need 15 to open all the chests at the end of the run. And you always will get 2 pearls back for just completing a run.
In most cases, if you don’t get hit too much, that will be enough to kind of self-sustain. If you need more, you can get 10 stacks for every pearl. So, maybe farm a few up, then go in, and you can do some runs. You can basically open all the chests all the time now.
