Have you tried Diablo 4 since its Season 1 release? How do you feel about the experience of the game? Recently I found a new bug.
What's The Bug In Season 1?
Gore Quills aspect is bugged, and it’s not the one where it wasn’t doing damage which has since been hotfixed. For some reason this aspect works on Blood Orbs of other Necromancers. Strange right, but that’s exactly what is happening.
In Diablo 4, you can see Blood Lances spawning from the same location, even though I personally have no Blood Orbs there, and even if I did they would be consumed and wouldn’t be able to continually generate lances. I was leveling up with 2 friends who were also Necromancers, this meant there was a surplus of random Blood Orbs lying around.
What’s interesting about this, is that even though your Gore Quills aspect is using the orbs of other players, it doesn’t actually consume them. This means you can endlessly generate the maximum number of Blood Lances per cast from this aspect which is 4.
In Diablo 4, Necromancers have the ability to generate Blood Orbs, which are equivalent to life orbs. After consuming Blood Orbs, they can heal 15% of the player's maximum life, players can also save some Diablo 4 Items by consuming Orbs.
The Impact Of This Bug
On paper this might sound very helpful and for easier content it is, it allows you to propagate your lances extremely quickly. The problem is if there are 4 or more Blood Orbs around that don’t belong to you, you quite literally cannot consume your own orbs unless you physically run over them, which of course doesn’t proc Gore Quills aspect in Diablo 4.
This means the infinite essence battery from the aspect of potent blood won’t function, you don’t get the healing from them or any fortify with Blood Drinker Glyph and so on. Any benefit you may receive from consuming an orb will no longer happen, that means you'll likely spend more Diablo 4 Gold.
Now you may be thinking the easy solution is to not group up with other Necromancers, and for solo dungeons that would work. The funny thing is, this interaction works for any Necro, even if they aren’t in your party. Any content in the world can suddenly be sabotaged by another Necros Blood Orbs that they’ve left behind.
The player doesn’t need to be on screen or even nearby, their Blood Orbs simply have to exist. Unfortunately for me, Blizzard decided to cap the number of lances per use of Gore Quills aspect to 4. Believe me, when I first noticed this interaction I was excitedly thinking of the possibilities of launching thousands of Blood Lances per cast with the help of some fellow Necros.

Outro
For now in Diablo 4, this interaction feels like a boon for leveling, but a detriment to late game. This is clearly a bug that Blizzard needs to fix, I haven't found a use for it so far, but maybe someone else will find it. But I still hope that Blizzard can find and fix it as soon as possible. If you are also playing Season 1, you can pay attention to this.
