  • What Are The Best Vampiric Powers For Diablo 4's Sorcerer?

    Dec 09 ,2023

If you are playing Diablo 4’s Sorcerer and you are wondering what are the best Vampiric Powers for Sorcerer in Diablo 4, I bring to you the 8 best Vampiric Powers, ranking from worst to best.

There are some great Vampiric Powers that focus on making your attacks hit harder, but the best Sorcerer Vampiric Powers focus on healing and damage reduction. Sorcerers have notoriously low health and ways to negate damage, so the Vampiric Powers that focus on that are necessary.

By using these powerful Vampiric Powers, your Sorcerer will become even more stronger. You will also get more Diablo 4 Gold and loot at various events and dungeons.

What Are The Best Vampiric Powers For Diablo 4's Sorcerer?

    8. Anticipation

Let’s start our list with Anticipation that works for all Sorcerer builds.

With Anticipation, your ultimate skills will gain:

    • 20% cooldown reduction
    • 12% increased damage for each nearby enemy affected by your damage overtime effects

Every class, including every Sorcerer build, can benefit from Anticipation. Ultimate skills are fun to use and Anticipation makes the cooldown significantly less.

Also, Sorcerers have a lot of damage overtime skills, which makes Anticipation an even better Vampiric Power for them.

    7. Domination

For number 7, we have Domination, which works very well for Ice Sorcerer builds.

With Domination, you deal 24% increased damage to enemies who are stunned, immobilized, frozen, or feared. If they are also injured and not an elite, they are instantly killed.

Domination is a Vampiric Power especially good for all Ice Sorcerer builds, because you deal increased damage to frozen enemies. Also, if they aren’t elites or injured, they instantly die, and that doesn’t have a cooldown.

If you are playing the best Ice Sorcerer build, you need Domination.

    6. Ravenous

For number 6, we have Ravenous

All Sorcerer builds work with this one. And its Lucky Hits give you up to 20% chance to increase your attack speed by 40% of your total movement speed for 6 seconds. Attack speed is an area that is lacking for Sorcerers.

With the Ravenous Vampiric Power, you have a chance to increase your attack speed. It’s a straightforward but pretty good to have.

    5. Flowing Veins

For number 5, we have Flowing Veins. It works very well for Fire Sorcerer builds

With Flowing Veins, you deal 60% increased damage over time to enemies that are moving or affected by a Vampiric Curse

Flowing Veins is one of the best Sorcerer Vampiric Powers to increase your damage output, especially when paired with Metamorphosis, which allows you to apply Vampiric Curses often. The 60% bonus to damage over times is huge.

    4. Metamorphosis

For number 4, we have Metamorphosis

When you evade, you turn into a cloud of bats, becoming unstable for 4 seconds. Enemies along your path take 160% physical damage and they are inflicted with Vampiric Curse.

I recommend Metamorphosis for every class and every build, but it’s especially great for Sorcerers. Sorcerers don’t have a great way to avoid Ambushes and unexpected big damage, which is where Metamorphosis comes in.

Getting out of a jail by becoming an unstoppable cloud of bats that deals damage to those it passes is insanely good for any Sorcerer build.

    3. Moonrise

Now let’s go for the top three of the Vampiric Powers for Sorcerers. We start with the number 3, Moonrise. It’s very good for Arc Lash Sorcerer build

Hitting an enemy with the basic skill grants you 4% attack speed for 10 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. Upon reaching maximum stack, you enter Vampiric Blood Rage, gaining 160% basic skill damage and 50% movement speed for 10 seconds.

Especially if you are using a Lightning Sorcerer build that focuses on Arc Lash, Moonrise is an amazing Vampiric Power for Sorcerer. Increasing attack speed to your basic skills and getting 160% basic skill damage increases is great on any Sorcerer build, but it’s especially true for Arc Lash builds

The 50% movement speed increase is nice, too.

    2. Undying

For number 2, we have Undying. It works also for all Sorcerer builds. If you don't know how to make a build for your Sorcerer, you might as well check out the Diablo 4 Boosting service here. There will be professional players here to help you design the most powerful build according to your preferences!

Casting skills heal you 3% life. Double this bonus while below 50% of life. The two Vampiric Powers that are necessary for every Sorcerer to have, regardless of build, are Undying and Resilience.

Undying is a little worse than Resilience, but in combination, they are amazing. While Resilience helps you overall, Undying boosts your survivability by giving you an active way to heal.

Plus, when you are at less than 50% life, you gain even more healing from your attacks.

    1. Resilience

And our winner and number 1 is Resilience. It works for all Sorcerer builds.

With Resilience, you gain 1% damage reduction for each 2% life you are missing.

Resilience is the best source of Vampiric Powers because it keeps you from losing health better than anything else. For every 2% life gone, you lose, you gain 1% damage reduction. So, at your 50% life, you have 25% damage reduction.

This is insanely good and almost a requirement for all Sorcerers.

I’m playing as Sorcerer in Season 2 and I reached level 100. And I saw a big difference after I changed my Vampiric Powers according to this ranking list.
