  • Diablo 4 Andariel Barrage Rogue Build: How To Build The Best Endgame Build In Season 5?

    Aug 07 ,2024

Andariel Barrage Rogue Build is definitely one of the most worthwhile builds to try in Diablo 4 Season 5. Not only is the actual difficulty of playing this build very low, but it also has a shocking damage output.

However, completing this build requires quite an intense grind in terms of the required gear. At the very least, you need to build the core Diablo 4 item of the same name, Andariel’s Visage, which will make things go much smoother.

Once you have Andariel’s Visage in Diablo 4, you’re ready to use this Barrage build and turn it into a top killer in Sanctuary. If you want to know how to play this build, don’t miss this guide, where we have prepared everything you need to know about this build for you.

Diablo 4 Andariel Barrage Rogue Build: How To Build The Best Endgame Build In Season 5?

    Build Gameplay

You can’t be an Andariel Barrage Rogue without Andariel’s Visage. Otherwise, you’re just a Barrage Rogue that uses Barrage, Poison Trap, and Death Mark to deal damage.

Of course, you can also use Shadow Step and Dash to move around, and use Preparation Specialization to help your cooldown. Some builds also run Puncture to get Lucky Hit Chance. This is also possible, however, we won’t do it here.

What’s interesting about this build is that we don’t stack Ranks of Barrage. So we need to get as close to the enemy as possible when using Barrage. This reduces waste and ensures that the arrows don’t stray far from your target.

But the ultimate purpose of using Barrage is to trigger Andariel’s Visage, and Legendary Aspect of Bursting Venoms.

Once Lucky Hit is triggered, Poison Imbued Skills have a chance to create toxic pools. Alternatively, Poison Imbuement Skills have no CD/Charge limit on toxic pools. You can try to stack a lot of Attack Speed and Lucky Hit to make this happen as often as possible.

Poison Trap is mainly for harder enemies, such as bosses and stronger elites. The challenge with this build is movement, which requires you to use Shadow Step and Dash frequently to get the attack speed buff for close combat. It lasts for 8 seconds, so you have to get used to using them on cooldown. But it takes practice.

Thanks to Preparation, you can use Poison Trap more often. However, this build is so ridiculous that you can even drink potions at full health. This is thanks to Unstable Elixirs, as these in turn provide damage buffs. However, it also means that you have to spend more time and effort in Diablo 4 to find potions that Andariel Build needs, but this is totally fine.

    Essential Gear

Andariel Barrage Rogue works well with Andariel’s Visage in Diablo 4, but there are a few other slots that can be filled with Mythic Uniques or regular items. For example, Tyrael’s Might is a very strong defensive Mythic Unique. Ring of Starless Skies does a lot to reduce resource costs and increase damage.

    Diablo 4 Andariel's Visage

Ideally, you’d also have Fists of Fate Unique Glove and Umbracrux, but they’re not essential. In particular, Umbracrux can really only be triggered by Poison Trap. Fists of Fate have a chance to deal extra attack damage, though. While it’s not essential, you should definitely grab it if you get the chance.

The actual types of gear you’re likely to see in Diablo 4 Season 5 will be much different. Don’t worry though, we’ve listed the types of gear you need for each slot. These are Mythic Uniques you need to complete this build:

    • Helm: Andariel’s Visage
    • Chest: Enshrouding Mail
    • Gloves: Fists of Fate
    • Pants: Umbrous Leggings
    • Boots: Concussive Strike Boots
    • Amulet: Branching Volleys Choker
    • Rings: Ring of Retribution & High Velocity Ring
    • Weapons: Bursting Venoms Bow
    • Off-Hand: Bursting Venoms Dagger & The Umbracrux

    Legendary Aspects

Apart from that, there are also important Legendary Aspects to choose from here. Aspect of Branching Volleys increases the damage done by ricocheting arrows and increases the chance that they will split when ricocheting, creating a potential wave of damage.

Diablo 4 Aspect of Bursting Venoms

As mentioned above, Aspect of Bursting Venoms is another must-have, which gives players the powerful Poison Imbued skill. When a player lands a critical hit with Poison Imbued skill, there is a chance to create a toxic pool that deals Poison damage over time to enemies in it. This Aspect also grants the player the ability to have no cooldown or recharge limit while standing in the pool.

Here is a full list of the must-have Legendary Aspects:

    • Aspect of Creeping Death
    • Aspect of Bursting Venoms
    • Umbrous Aspect
    • Aspect of High Velocity
    • Aspect of Branching Volleys
    • Aspect of Concussive Strikes

When considering what other stats you need on your gear, you might consider adding Ranks of Alchemical Advantage or Casts of Poison Imbue. This can help you deal as much damage to disabled enemies as possible and reach a total of 180% attack speed, with 100% coming from gear and +80% from Aspects.

On top of that, since Andariel’s Visage relies on Lucky Hit, you’ll want as much attack speed as possible, at least 200%+.

That’s all you need to know about this Andariel Barrage Rogue Build. Follow this guide and you’ll be able to use it to its full potential to help you clear waves of enemies in Diablo 4 Season of The Infernal Hordes!
